Goddess DetoxA class action lawsuit accuses Goddess Detox Inc. of making false advertising claims about the benefits of its Goddess Vaginal Detox Pearls.

Plaintiff Wendy Weiss says she purchased Goddess Vaginal Detox Pearls based on marketing claims made by the company that the product could promote vaginal health, regulate menstrual cycles and pain, increase sexual function, remove old matter from the vagina and uterus, treat infertility, and “detox” a consumer’s body from an old lover.

However, Weiss says that after making her purchase she discovered that the product did not perform as advertised.

Weiss claims that she purchased the pearls from Goddess Detox’s website on Oct. 22, 2019. She notes that the product was marketed as a “Holistic Herbal Vaginal Cleanse” and “Self-Love Inspired Womb Care for Every Woman.”

She says the company advertised that the detox pearl also promotes overall womb and vaginal health. Allegedly, the product contains herbs that “aid in overall womb health and cleaning by working with the body to expel contents that may be working against the overall health of the womb and vaginal area.”

The company then goes on to the claim that “when the herbs in the product are used in vaginal steam it encourages the natural shedding of the uterus, allowing old matter to be removed and new energy to flow into the uterus,” says Weiss.

She says that the product contained two “Goddess Vaginal Detox Pearls” along with two applicators and instructions on how to insert the detox pearls into the body using the applicators.

The vaginal detox class action lawsuit says that Goddess Detox Inc. violates federal regulations by advertising that the product treats medical conditions without being approved by the FDA to do so.

Specifically, the Goddess Detox class action says that the company’s claims that the product can treat infertility is unlawfully because infertility is a medical condition, and therefore a treatment for it must be approved by the FDA.

The Goddess Detox class action lawsuit says that the claims made by Goddess Detox constitute false and deceptive advertising.

Providing one example of how the product is allegedly falsely advertised, Weiss claims that the company advertises the detox pearls as being non-toxic, but the product contains borneol, which Health Canada recognizes as toxic.

Weiss says the product claims to solve problems that do not exist, and inso doing, can actually cause a consumer bodily harm.

    Today is march 31st, 2023
I purchased 2 packs of yoni pearls a month or over a month ago for the first time. While my order was being shipped, I started doing research and found health articles and even lawsuits specifically towards goddess detox. After that I proceeded to leave a comment on her ig stating ,” This is my first time using and I did research and found out that your not fda approved and asked about the article by health and all she did was dm me a screenshot of my comment saying she’s not fda approved and told me to go to her FAQ page regarding how the pearls work and how to use or insert them and etc. So fast forward I received my order, use the first pack and now a month or so later I been heavy bleeding, spotting light pink and brown blood for over 2 weeks and it’s back and forth. I have been on depo since 2020 and I rarely get my period, yet along experience periods for this long. I went to look up her page a few days ago to seek answers and her ig business page is gone, she’s not responding and deleting everyone’s comments, all her business websites are down, ppl are demanding refunds for orders they haven’t received, nor is she accepting requests on her olanikee page on IG. I reached out twice in her inbox on ig and tik tok and left comments and no response and she was responding back to ppl on tik tok 2hrs ago. But all her comments on tik tok were even deleted. I’m really scared there’s a possibility my vaginal health is damaged or worst. Cervical cancer absolutely scares me because I want 4 or 5 beautiful children and only have 1 at the moment. Please sb reach out asap, i need answers.

I was trying to gather all the information and evidence, just in case someone sees this or reach out to contact me, and I can’t find the comment where she was active 2/3 hrs ago because she’s still deleting comments, all I could retrieve was her commenting on TikTok over 18 hours ago.

Is this the manufacturer? Just seems like a FDA intervention to me. There are numerous of herbs proven to detox a womb.

I agree with your statement. I’ve used Goddess detox pearls for years and they’ve never caused any issues. Matter of fact I no longer have period pains because of their cleanse. This is a shame what they are doing to her. Of course it’s some white lady named Wendy Weiss trying to get paid. I’ve used goddessdetoxpearls since 2018 -2022 and have cleared up BV with it before. It’s a shame what they’ve done to this woman and her amazing business. See what happens what someone tried to do something for the collective that actually helps and heals. This is unfortunately what happens when you pose a threat to bull&&it western medicine and big pharma

The first time I used the Detox pearls I had been trying to conceive for a little over a year with no luck. I used the pearls, I had no pain or any negative reactions, I did have s purge and I conceived the following cycle. I did miscarry at 11 weeks. We tried again to conceive for almost a year and a half with no luck. I ordered the detox pearls again, purged with no negative reactions. I conceived on my second cycle after doing the pearls. Unfortunately I miscarried again at 10 weeks (4 weeks ago). I am 45, so my egg quality isn’t that of when I was in my 20’s. But i am remaining optimistic that we will get a good egg and have a healthy baby. I did just order more pearls, as I mentioned I miscarried 4 weeks ago. I am waiting for my first cycle to arrive since my D&C and then will so the detox cleanse after my flow stops. I can only speak for myself and my own experience, and these pearls have been absolutely beneficial for me and I’ve had great results. I’m certain that everyone won’t have the same experience as not one of us has the same body, the same toxins built up over our years, nor do we have the same reactions to herbs. I love this product and 2 friends that I recommended it to, both conceived the cycle after they used the pearls and both have happy and healthy toddlers. ❤

I also purchased the pearl and NO PURGE FOR ME. I am on my 13th day and they said you would purge by the 6-9th day and nothing. I am not sure if I will purchase this item again!

    1. Karma says:

No purge just looks ok pain.

No purge just lots of pain

Is this lawsuit still going?! I need to be added :(

  6. Michigan Made Me says:

They worked for me! I can’t speak for nobody but myself. I suffered from constant yeast infections and even bv and antibiotics my doctor prescribed always made them worst or come back often even though I’m very hygienic, eat relatively clean, same sex partner and constantly stayed at the doctors to be “checked”.

Long story short since using these and taking my women’s probiotic daily I’ve been a lot better.
