Goddess DetoxA class action lawsuit accuses Goddess Detox Inc. of making false advertising claims about the benefits of its Goddess Vaginal Detox Pearls.

Plaintiff Wendy Weiss says she purchased Goddess Vaginal Detox Pearls based on marketing claims made by the company that the product could promote vaginal health, regulate menstrual cycles and pain, increase sexual function, remove old matter from the vagina and uterus, treat infertility, and “detox” a consumer’s body from an old lover.

However, Weiss says that after making her purchase she discovered that the product did not perform as advertised.

Weiss claims that she purchased the pearls from Goddess Detox’s website on Oct. 22, 2019. She notes that the product was marketed as a “Holistic Herbal Vaginal Cleanse” and “Self-Love Inspired Womb Care for Every Woman.”

She says the company advertised that the detox pearl also promotes overall womb and vaginal health. Allegedly, the product contains herbs that “aid in overall womb health and cleaning by working with the body to expel contents that may be working against the overall health of the womb and vaginal area.”

The company then goes on to the claim that “when the herbs in the product are used in vaginal steam it encourages the natural shedding of the uterus, allowing old matter to be removed and new energy to flow into the uterus,” says Weiss.

She says that the product contained two “Goddess Vaginal Detox Pearls” along with two applicators and instructions on how to insert the detox pearls into the body using the applicators.

The vaginal detox class action lawsuit says that Goddess Detox Inc. violates federal regulations by advertising that the product treats medical conditions without being approved by the FDA to do so.

Specifically, the Goddess Detox class action says that the company’s claims that the product can treat infertility is unlawfully because infertility is a medical condition, and therefore a treatment for it must be approved by the FDA.

The Goddess Detox class action lawsuit says that the claims made by Goddess Detox constitute false and deceptive advertising.

Providing one example of how the product is allegedly falsely advertised, Weiss claims that the company advertises the detox pearls as being non-toxic, but the product contains borneol, which Health Canada recognizes as toxic.

Weiss says the product claims to solve problems that do not exist, and inso doing, can actually cause a consumer bodily harm.

Danielle is there a way I can discuss this product with you further because I got scared because of the class action suit but a few people I know claims these pearls really purge and has worked for them

  2. Reona Love says:

I used a detox recently and It was scary! But I haven’t viewed any products without disclaimer stating it’s not FDA approved. I have seen and read reviews that clearly states this is an herbal cleanse and the results are individually based. In saying that? Why sue when you chose to pursue a puss boost! Now if your puss would’ve purged would you be doing this? Lol. Nope! Even driving your car up and down the road is a risk! Come on! Y’all sound disappointed that your womb isn’t responding huh…. Well it ain’t the Goddesses products why your puss is sus or if it stank! Lol. Ijs! I’m keeping it a buck! Shame on y’all for expecting a miracle monkie cure! Not even a review stated these accusations as facts. And they’re are far more positive results than these measly add me on’s or you! Y’all are like one hand in comparison to the thousands of thousands of people who have tried it or the millions who have used herbal methods for Centuries. #GirlsBye! This was totally about choices and anything other than that part is completely at your will per your payment. How you gone sue because you and your puss didn’t get the results you expected but NEVER PROMISED! Stop IT! Goddess needs to sue y’all for slander! PERIOD! Come up on All That! Meaning? Your body, Your choice! Freewill Is a choice right or wrong! Stop IT!

I need to be added to this lawsuit I purchased the pearls and now I have been having stomach issues as well as irregular bleeding, extreme dryness and severe cramps which I didn’t have before trying this product.

    1. Smokenhammer says:

I’m sorry you’re going through this. The matter that is purged in the picture turns out to be inner vaginal skin among other needed things from the vagina. I feel so bad so many of us have been mislead.

  4. Jennifer Hurter says:

Add me to this class action suit as well.

  5. Stephanie says:

I need to be added. I received my period late and it was very very painful. I have been bleeding with big blood clots for one month now after using these “detox pearls”! I have no experienced this before. I went to the doctor afterwards and I had to be put on birth control just to try and stop the bleeding. I also got a yeast infection and vaginal tearing after using these!

  6. Sarah Wilson says:

Is it too late to join the lawsuit? These pearls have me so sick I’m debating going to the emergency room. I didn’t detox anything out however since using them I have extreme pelvic pain and UTI symptoms it feels like my uterus is falling out of me and the pain is so intense I’m doubled over . I wish I knew about this before I used them because whatever this is doesn’t belong in our bodies and they need to stop selling them.

    1. Sarah wilson says:

Following up with dr tomorrow and starting antibiotics and prednisone now. Ladies please don’t use this whatever it really is doesn’t cure anything it can’t cure fibroids or or Infertility it’s all fake

      1. T.Shea says:

First of all, it never said in her pamphlet it can “cure” fibroids and infertility. These are customers sharing their experience of what Goddess Detox did for them and most of them say this. I can even say it helped me regulate my cycle, lighten my flow and eliminate my cramps due to my PCOS. Her products is Yoni maintenance at your own risk since we are not at our “optimum” health. Herbs can’t harm you and that’s just straight facts!

  7. Monique says:

Just purchased some then came across these reviews

    1. Karla says:

I had an amazing experience myself and been using them for 2 years now.

  8. Shantel says:

How can I be added?? I purchased the pearls in 2020. Followed the instructions and nothing happened. I was going to purchase them again to see if it would work, but I ended up changing my mind because I didn’t want to waste any more money.

    1. Bonnie says:

Right ! This happened to me but I purchase the product again and still nothing happened at all so i’m trying to figure out if it’s still in there blocking because it tells you not to have sex until after the purge has happened hell I’m still waiting on the purge to happen but I go to the doctor on the 20th

  9. AJ says:

I love the detox pearls & the steams. I have the seat. It doesn’t work for everyone sometimes you just need to take your funky ass to the doctor Susan.

  10. Crystal P says:

I tried the pearls last year and nothing happened. I spent over $100 in products in December hoping for some sort of result and never received the product. I emailed them and no response. Now I’m reading this and super dissapointed.
Please add me to the lawsuit
