The AdaptHealth settlement benefits two classes of North Carolina residents who purchased, leased or rented medical equipment, supplies or products from AdaptHealth: the Billing Claim Class, consisting of 464 individuals who were billed for equipment they returned, rejected or never received between April 3, 2019, and April 3, 2025; and the Collection Letter Claim Class, consisting of 142,539 individuals who received a “Seriously Past Due” or “Final Demand” letter threatening possible legal action between April 3, 2019, and March 31, 2026.
