Apple Inc. agreed to a $250 million class action settlement to resolve claims that iPhone 15 and 16 series smartphones were not equipped with the promised Siri features.
The iPhone settlement benefits consumers who purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro Max between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025.
According to the class action lawsuit, Apple failed to deliver promised Siri features on iPhone 15 and 16 series smartphones. As a result, consumers allegedly overpaid for these devices.
Siri is a proprietary software asset, integrated feature and registered trademark wholly owned and operated by Apple.
Apple has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $250 million class action settlement to resolve the allegations.
Under the terms of the iPhone settlement, class members can receive a cash payment for each eligible device they purchased. Class members who submit valid claims will receive a $25 payment per device. However, this payment may be increased or decreased depending on the number of claims filed with the settlement. If the payment is adjusted, class members could receive up to $95 per device.
The deadline for exclusion and objection is Dec. 21, 2026.
The final approval hearing for the iPhone class action settlement is scheduled for Feb. 24, 2027.
To receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by Dec. 21, 2026.
