Why Chase is holding a payment they never returned it back to my account since I filed bankruptcy. I had called them several times and they say we’re going to issue the credit back to your account and they never do.

How can credit card companies hold your payment to gain for interest ? Shouldn’t that be illegal?
How can Walmart ask for our receipt without Reasonable articuluable Suspicion or probable cause that we have stolen anything. Trying to step on our fourth amendment right.

I would like to know the answer to this, too. Especially when they stand there and watch you go through the checkout line and can see that ya paid. Borderline harassment if ya ask me.!
I agree. Hopefully someone will look into this. We just check out and then are asked for the receipt that was just handed to us🤔 watch the cashiers not us, we’re obviously paying. Definitely harassment
