Jool Baby issued a baby swings recall for 63,100 of its Nova Baby infant swings because they pose a suffocation hazard.

The swings have an incline of more than 10 degrees, in violation of the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Infant Sleep Products Regulation and the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. The recalled infant swings also do not have legally mandated warnings.

The baby swings recall covers swings manufactured from June 2022 through September 2023. The date code can be found on the sewn-in warning label on the back of the swing’s seat.

The swings are 28 inches long, 19 inches wide and 24 inches high with a round aluminum base, music buttons, metal seat frame, cloth seat with restraints and a headrest and a canopy with hanging toys.

The swings have “Jool Baby” printed on the swing’s base and “NOVA” on the seat label.
