CaTeam is recalling 700 of its canvas baby hammock swings due to a suffocation hazard for infants.

The inclined sleeper is a banned product under the Safe Sleep for Babies Act because it is marketed for infants and it has an incline angle of more than 10 degrees. Infant fatalities have occurred in inclined sleepers when the infant rolls from back to stomach or side while unrestrained, according to the CaTeam recall.

The recall includes all of the CaTeam canvas baby hammock swings. They were made with wood and cloth with adjustable height settings and were made in the following colors: ivory, taupe gray, gray, dark gray, blue, ochre, green and pink.

The swings are identifiable by the “CaTeam” stitched onto the label. The canvas baby hammock swings recall involves swings that were purchased either from cateam.store or Amazon.com from November 2022 through January 2023 for between $70 and $100.
