Graco says consumers should immediately stop using the affected car seats with the base.

However, the seats can still be used without the base, following the product instructions, until a replacement is received.

Consumers are instructed to document their product by taking a photo of the label on the base, which includes the model number, date of manufacture and serial number, and upload it to the Graco recall website for verification.

Graco is offering replacement options at no cost to affected consumers. These include the SnugRide SnugFit DLX Maison or Gotham models, each with an additional SnugRide SnugFit base, or toddler seat options like the EasyTurn Solae or Turn2Me Brighton. For those with a base-only product, a replacement SnugRide SnugFit base is available.

For further information, consumers can contact Graco Consumer Services via chat, email, or phone at 1-800-345-4109, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
