Nissan adds more than 125K 2017 Rogue compact crossover vehicles to existing recall due to fire risk

Nissan added 125,215 of its model year 2017 Rogue compact crossover vehicles to an ongoing recall initiated over concerns the vehicles’ could catch fire.

The fire risk in the newly recalled Rogue vehicles stems from the possibility of water and road salt getting into their workwell, which can lead to corrosion in an electrical connector and ultimately present a risk of fire.

Nissan Rogue vehicles added to the existing recall, which includes around 690,000 model year 2014-2016 Rogue SUVs, were produced at the automakers Smyrna, Tennessee, factory from between July 26, 2016, and Sept. 27, 2017.

Audi recalls 50,883 A6, A7 vehicles over concerns they can experience an unexpected engine shutdown

Audi, meanwhile, recalled 50,883 of its A6 and A7 vehicles earlier this month over concerns they could experience an unexpected engine shutdown due to a defective gateway control module.

The vehicles included in the recall are model year 2019-2022 Audi A6 and A7 vehicles, model year 2020-2022 Audi A6 Allroad S6 and S7 vehicles and model year 2021-2022 Audi RS6 and RS7 vehicles.

Audi initiated the auto recall after receiving dozens of reports about the issue, which can occur in the event liquid is spilled in the rear seating area of the recalled vehicles, from U.S. consumers.

Polaris, Honda, Kubota recall certain off-road, all-terrain, utility vehicles, respectively

Also this month, Polaris, Honda, and Kubota recalled certain off-road, all-terrain, and utility vehicles, respectively.

Polaris recalled around 600 of its model year 2021-2022 RZR Pro XP 4 Recreational Off-Road Vehicles due to concerns over a fire risk attributed to a possible fuel leak at its fuel pump assembly joint.

Honda, meanwhile, initiated a recall for around 2,900 of its model year 2022 Honda TRX90X ATVs over concerns they can present a crash and injury hazard if their throttle cables become stuck.

Finally, Kubota announced it recalled roughly 19,500 of its Kubota RTV-XG850 Model Utility Vehicles after becoming concerned that its steering shaft can shear and lead to a loss of steering control.

FCA US recalls 62,909 2021-2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe vehicles over plug-in hybrid engine shut-down concerns

FCA US initiated a vehicle recall for 62,909 of its model year 2021-2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe vehicles late last month over concerns their 2.0-liter plug-in hybrid vehicle engines can unexpectedly shut down.

The auto recall came in the wake of two accidents reported as a result of the issue, with FCA US noting in its recall that an engine shutdown can cause a loss of power and increase the risk of a crash.

In addition to the two accidents, FCA US says it is aware of a total of 112 customer assistance records, 196 warranty claims and 65 field reports that are potentially connected to the issue that led to the recall.

Subaru announces recall for certain 2019-2022 Ascent vehicles due to concerns related to fire risk

Subaru, meanwhile, announced earlier this month that it recalled certain of its model year 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent vehicles over concerns they could pose a fire risk.

The fire risk concerns stem from a potential issue with the fastening of the recalled Subaru Ascent vehicles’ Positive Temperature Coefficient ground terminals.

Subaru advised owners of the recalled vehicles to avoid parking the Ascent vehicles in garages, carports or other structures and to not leave them unattended while they are running.

I bought a 2020 Murano awd a month ago and it immediately gave me problems and was in the shop within a week for almost a month. But they haven’t fixed anything still. I am going to a shop tomorrow to get everything officially and legally diagnosed so I need a lawyer to back me up because I have no idea of my rights and the dealership always treats me like garbage when I try to stand up for myself.

I had a 2018 wrangler that would shut down but the service dept said they couldn’t find the problem

We had this problem happen to us twice yesterday. One on the highway. Have you heard if this is a problem with the JL 2018 Jeep Wrangler?

  3. Erica Mousley says:

I just sold my Jeep due to the engine shutting down, with low mile, no accidents and no reason. I didn’t get to enjoy my Jeep. 2010 Jeep Liberty
