H-E-B recalled around 1,400 of its Haven & Key Leather Woven Chairs over concerns their backrest and legs can break when the chair is in use, creating a fall hazard.Â
The recalled leather woven chairs are also called Lovina chairs and were sold in black or brown with UPC codes 4122089244 and 4122091920, according to the recall, which the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission posted June 29.Â
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Haven & Key Leather Woven Chairs and contact H-E-B directly to return the chairs and receive a full refund, the H-E-B recall states.
H-E-B says it is directly contacting all known chair purchasers and has received 11 reports of the recalled leather woven chairs cracking or breaking with no injuries.Â
Recalled Haven & Key Leather Woven Chairs sold at H-E-B store locations, online
The recalled Haven & Key Leather Woven Chairs were sold for around $300 at H-E-B store locations in Texas and on the company’s website from between April 2022 and April 2023, according to the chair recall.Â
Consumers can find more information about the recall online or by contacting H-E-B at (855) 432-4438.Â
