Big Fish Games, et al., Case No. 2:19-cv-00199, both in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Slotomania, House of Fun Casino Gaming Apps Class Action Settlement
Another gaming app settlement also is paying out big: One TCA viewer received a deposit of nearly $40,000!
The plaintiff in a Slotomania and House of Fun Casino class action lawsuit alleged Playtika and Caesars Interactive Entertainment violated Washington state law because their apps offered “free-to-play” games, then profited from users’ in-app coin purchases.
The deadline to file a claim was Jan. 4, 2021.
The Slotomania and House of Fun Casino Gaming Apps Class Action Lawsuit is Sean Wilson, et al. v. Playtika Ltd., et al., Case No. 3:18-cv-05277-RBL, in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Six Flags $450K Debit and Credit Card Receipt Privacy Settlement Payments
Class Members in the Six Flags debit and credit card receipt class action lawsuit have reported receiving as many as eight vouchers and settlement payments of up to $109.26.
The plaintiffs in four class action lawsuits alleged Great America LLC printed more than the first five digits of credit and debit card numbers on customer receipts or failed to hide cards’ expiration dates on receipts, a violation of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA).
The claim deadline was April 2, 2021.
The Six Flags FACTA Class Action Lawsuit is Soto, et al. v. Great America LLC, et al., Case No. 17-CH-1118, in the Circuit Court of the 19th Judicial Circuit, Lake County, Illinois.
$5M Walmart, Sam’s Club Sales Tax Refund Settlement Payment Checks in the Mail
TCA viewers have received checks for $8.51 in a Walmart class action lawsuit settlement.
The lead plaintiff in a 2017 class action lawsuit had argued the retail giant failed to include sales tax when refunding customers, violating Missouri law.
The claim form deadline was April 1, 2021.
The Walmart Receipt Privacy Class Action Lawsuit is Scott Pearlstone, et al. v. Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Case No. 4:17-cv-02856-HEA, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
