It doesn’t work that way. You have to file a claim by yourself and before it is past the deadline. You are obviously past the deadline considering the thread you are commenting on is the “Settlement payments received ”
You can not file after the payments are mailed. Couple months too late. Also, how is anyone supposed to ADD YOU? They psychic?

      Huh?

  7. Kathy says:

The same thing happened to my husband’s Facebook account. He cannot get his account back and Facebook is providing no assistance, despite the fact that people are reporting the scam posts. It’s impossible to get a live person at FB to help. There has to be a class action suit brewing for this. It’s happened to several people we know.

    1. Christy Crowther says:

      Happened to me too!!!

  8. Delvia D Evans says:

    Add me please

    1. Cassie J BROWNING says:

I’m sorry for my sarcastic response but what do you expect ADD ME to accomplish? Especially AFTER the settlement has concluded and is paid? And How can anyone ADD YOU?

  9. Tara Byerly says:

I too was hacked on Facebook and I tried to contact them about it and they would not do anything about it and I received calls from ppl who where scammed by the ppl who hacked my account and pretended to be me!!! The Hacker of my Facebook account asked my oldest daughter for money while pretending to be me while I was sitting next to my daughter and she knew that it wasn’t me who had control over my old original account the whole entire time!!!

    1. Irene Caban says:

I was hacked on Facebook as well and the hacker proceeded to my PayPal account with an attempt to withdraw $2500 from my bank account through PayPal. Facebook did absolutely nothing to rectify or recover my Facebook account. Hacker continued attempts to scam people by selling fake tickets to venues.

  10. Shellie Dennis says:

Facebook keeps allowing different people to hack into my Facebook page and I have to keep making new Facebook pages so as of right now I have three different Facebook pages open and cannot close them. They will not close any of my pages.. I have had many friends and family notify FACEBOOK to let them know that that is not myself on those pages and they tell my friends and family that that page is fine for their is nothing wrong that it is the right person, but my friends and family keeps saying no it’s not that is not the right person that that page has been hacked, but they will not close the page down and I cannot get a hold of FACEBOOK to do anything about closing my pages down, so therefore, I have been hacked many times I cannot close any of my pages. I feel violated FACEBOOK and I do not recommend anyone to have a Facebook page anymore because they allow too many people to be on Facebook that don’t need to be on the site.

    1. Mr.Unconstructive Criticism says:

Uhhh? Okay? You wrote this pointless babble on this comment area why? What’s truly hilarious about you posting this is that it pretty much tells anyone with an 8th grade understanding of how the Internet works, that you have NO idea how it works yourself lol. Whatever issue you, poorly tried to explain about your Facebook account, most everyone will probably conclude it whatever happened, was due to YOUR inability to LEARN HOW TO NAVIGATE AND USE THE INTERNET PROPERLY AND SAFELY!
As much as hackers and scammers are a problem, (I’m going to assume your age solely off your post and stated issues,) people 50yrs and older are JUST as much of a problem as the hackers & scammers. You are the perfect person to fall victim to to scams and hackers, when they see your post, profiles, or any info you have online, they instantly get excited, you’re scammers and hackers IDEAL target. and until you learn how to understand the internet and the digital world in general, you’ll always be targeted. there’s no excuse for being so uneducated and up-to-date digitally. If a group of middle aged men in a slum in India can learn so much that THEY can hack YOU, then you’re doing something wrong. I’ll leave you with this, look up on YouTube different news videos interviewing victims of scammers… notices how they all fit a pattern, not gonna find many of them 20yrs-40yrs old, not gonna see many of them who come across even basically savvy with the internet.
