Kia is recalling more than 141,000 of its Kia Carnival vehicles from model years 2022 to 2026 due to a potential fuel leak issue.
The defect involves the connection between the fuel pipe and the fuel rail, which could result in a fuel leak and increase the risk of a fire.
The recall was officially issued on April 10, documented under National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Campaign Number 26V232000.
According to the recall notice, the problem lies in the fuel system, where a faulty connection could lead to a dangerous fuel leak. “A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire,” the recall states.
