The Dynamic Random Access Memory class action settlement resolves allegations that the small electric part found in computers, printers, video game consoles and other devices were sold at an artificially high price due to price-fixing.

The settlement included the following types of DRAM:

  • Extended Data Out (EDO)
  • Fast-Page Mode (FPM)
  • Reduced Latency (RLDRAM)
  • Synchronous (SDRAM)
  • Rambus (RDRAM)
  • Asynchronous (ASYNC)
  • Double Data Rate (DDR)

Class Members included all individuals (or businesses) who purchased DRAM (or a device containing DRAM) between Jan. 1, 1998 and Dec. 31, 2002. In addition, Class Members must have made their purchase inside the U.S. and it must not have been made directly from a DRAM manufacturer.

The deadline to file a claim for the DRAM settlement passed on Aug. 1, 2014.
