A recent testosterone lawsuit filed by a New Mexico resident claims the low-t therapy marketed to increase his sex drive caused him to have a heart attack.

Each year, more than 5 million men are prescribed a testosterone product to increase their hormone levels but recent studies have found that using a low testosterone treatment increases the risk of heart attacks, stroke or even death by 30 percent.

Plaintiff George D. alleges he used testosterone therapy for almost three years before developing blocked heart arteries and subsequently suffering from a heart attack. The testosterone product lawsuit claims the plaintiff was unaware of the possible deadly cardiac side effects of taking the medication. The former low-t therapy patient is suing the drug manufacturer for failing to warn consumers of the serious risks associated with taking the medication.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy Problems

Over the last decade, the number of testosterone users has tripled in the United States.
