The Dodge recall was officially issued on Oct. 22, as documented by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) under campaign number 26V701.
The defect involves potential damage to the terminals in the tail light wiring harness, which could prevent the tail lights from illuminating properly, thereby failing to meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108 regarding lamps, reflective devices and associated equipment.
