The decision by Johnson & Johnson subsidiary, DePuy Orthopaedics, to settle claims regarding DePuy ASR metal hip implants may bring resolution to tens of thousands of people who suffered from hip replacement complications, but the details are important.

The total fund for the federal DePuy ASR metal-on-metal hip implant lawsuit settlement is $4 billion, and people who have a qualified claim should be able to receive about $250,000 for a start. They may need to speak with their doctor to see whether or not they received the specific ASR model of DePuy hip implants. The following sub-classes are eligible for reviews of their claims:
