I’ve taken Neurontin and Gabapentin for a long time now. I’ve had blurred vision, bloody stools, trembling hands and mood swings!
I have been on Gabapentin for a while. It was prescribed for carpal tunnel. I still take it because I am addicted to it. I attend Pschotherapy and is on suicidal watch. I have been hospitalized also at a mental disorder rehab clinic. My life has totally changed and my marriage is a mess. I suffer from paranoia sleep disorder, depression,weight gain, memory problems, blurry eyes , chest pains and swelling of feet and hands. Suicidal thoughts with severe mood swings and sudden behavior changes has ruined my life. I wish I could just die,but I continue to fight.
I have many side effects, plus a couple not listed.
My husband had been taking gabapentin for years and suffered from memory loss, breathing problems and delirium . He passed away in 2020 at 83 but was not the same person. medications changed him. I think he was still be here today if it wasn’t for the medications.
A Florida doctor wrongfully prescribed me gabapentin when I was 21yrs old as a mood stabilizer. He hyped up this drug like it was the solution
to all my problems and is totally safe. This happened to be the same year pfizer was cleared to encourage doctors that gabapentin is approved to treat more than just epilepsy.. The worst part is that this doctor was perscribing this highly abusable drug out like candy to young recovering addicts and alcoholics in a long term rehab facility! 10 or so years later I am only now being told by doctors the terrible symptoms I am having, like learning disabilities, memory loss, dysphagia, weight loss, respiratory impairment, GERD among much more is likely the result of long term high doses of Gabapentin. I am currently trying to ween of. Turns out I should have never been prescribed it in. The first place but a doctor enjoyed getting his kickbacks for helping pfizer make money off idiots who think doctors have your best interests in heart.
I would like to join the lawsuits. I took them for 2,years and still have pain in my feet and hands.,The medicine didn’t help at all
