Top Class Actions viewers report that they are starting to receive checks in the mail from the Roundup Concentrate class action settlement worth as much as $720.
The Monsanto Company was hit with a pair of class action lawsuits alleging the company misled consumers about the strength of its Roundup Concentrate products.
According to the claims, Monsanto told consumers that the products in the line could be diluted with water and still provide the same strength as regular Roundup.
However, the plaintiffs said that Roundup Concentrate only maintained the same potency at half the dilution level that was described in the instructions for the product.
In other words, consumers were told that 64 ounces of Roundup Concentrate would make 21 gallons of Roundup but to maintain the same strength as regular Roundup, only 10.5 gallons could be made.
At issue were products that had packaging stating “Makes Up to ___ Gallons,” including Roundup Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate Plus and Roundup Weed & Grass Killer Super Concentrate.
Monsanto agreed to settle the Roundup Concentrate class action lawsuit. Under the terms of the settlement, Class Members included those who purchased products from the Roundup Concentrate line, including:
- Super Concentrate 35.2 fl. oz. – “Makes Up to 23 Gallons”
- Super Concentrate 53.7 oz. (0.42 gal.) – “Makes Up to 35 Gallons”
- Super Concentrate 64 fl. oz. (1/2 gal.) – “Makes Up to 42 Gallons”
- Super Concentrate 128 fl. oz. (1 gal.) – “Makes Up to 85 Gallons”
- Concentrate Plus 32 oz. (1 qt.) – “Makes Up to 10 Gallons”
- Concentrate Plus 36.8 oz. – “Makes Up to 12 Gallons”
- Concentrate Plus 40 oz. – “Makes Up to 13 Gallons”
- Concentrate Plus 64 oz. (1/2 gal.) – “Makes Up to 21 Gallons”
Class Members could claim $11 to $53 per unit, up to 20 items without proof of purchase.
The deadline to make a claim in the Roundup Concentrate settlement was March 6, 2018.

A. The website cannot add you to anything. You need to file a claim yourself.
B. You needed to file a claim 2 years ago. The deadline to file is over.
