Claimants in two class action lawsuits have reported to TCA that they have started receiving payouts from two settlements.

Bumble dating app users have reported receiving payments of up to $258.23!

Two class action lawsuits from 2018 accused Bumble of failing to inform users of the rights when it came to canceling their “Boost” subscription.

Allegedly, the subscription violated California and New York laws.

Bumble continues to deny the allegations against it but agreed to the $22.5 million settlement.

The claim deadline was Nov. 23, 2020.

The Bumble Auto-Renew Class Action Lawsuit was King, et al. v. Bumble Trading Inc., et al., Case No. 5:18-cv-06868-NC, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

CenturyLink Sales Practices Class Action Settlement Checks in the Mail

Checks for $67.54 have begun making their way to Class Members in a settlement over CenturyLink’s sales practices.

The company agreed to pay $15.5 million to resolve allegations its misleading billing practices deceived consumers.

The final claim form deadline passed on Oct. 26, 2020.

The CenturyLink Sales Practices Class Action Lawsuit was In re: CenturyLink Sales Practices and Securities Litigation, MDL No. 17-2795, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.

    Still waiting for a few that has been sent out including CenturyLink. I guess I’ve been skipped over in all of them even though I qualify for them all.
