Hello, TCA Viewers!
Good morning everyone! What a week! Last week was CRAZY! I’ll share what happened with the business shortly.
First off, I wanted to share what happened on the home front. The cover is OFF THE POOL! It’s officially summer in the Hardy home! Sunday afternoon was spent cannonballing into the pool and working out my arms as I threw my girls, over and over, up, up, and back into the pool. It was exhausting, LOL! I remember my Dad doing the same thing with my brother and me. I remember how I kept saying “AGAIN Dad! Again!” Those days at the Westward Look pool in Tucson were AWESOME! We didn’t have a pool at our house, so it was always an event when we got the chance to pile into the car and head to the pool! I’m happy that my family just wanders into the backyard for pool fun. It would be a lot harder if we had to put the towels, sunscreen, pool toys, and kids into the car and trek to the neighborhood swimming pool. Memories are made in the pool if you’re an Arizonan! I love it!
On the business side of things, it was a really busy week. As you can guess, being a growing website with an awesome fan-base (YOU!), we get imitators who are trying to copy our success. Unfortunately, sometimes they do so illegally. Last week we had to vigorously defend our copyrights and SHUT DOWN a website that was illegally copying us. It’s one thing to compete with us, we’re the biggest and most successful out there, I expect that . . . . It’s another thing to copy our content wholesale. That’s what a website did. They copied hundreds of articles and posted them as their own property. They were also super sneaky about it and tried to block their identity from being found out.
Well, we don’t take people stealing our articles lightly. We spend hundreds of hours (and thousands of dollars) every single week finding the lawsuits we report on. It’s not an easy process. We pay our case researchers, writers, assistant editors, editors, managing editors, and team to track down lawsuits and settlements YOU can participate in. It takes a LOT of work. We have more than 20 people who work with us every week to do this. They depend on Top Class Actions for their livelihood. I’ve spent the last eight years of my life building this business focused on connecting our viewers to cash. My TEAM has spent YEARS of their lives helping us grow.
If you steal from us, we feel the pain, since it’s our blood, sweat and tears, you’re stealing from. Thankfully, after a lot of research and work we found out who the culprit was. They were shut down online, on Facebook, and will pay the piper for their indiscretions.
When you have an awesome team, and an awesome group of viewers, you have to protect the trust you create with your people. We work hard to do that. This company is my dream. It’s supported by fantastic people. I will do everything in my power to protect it. I hope we provide you with information you can act on, and cash you can claim! I received a check for the Walgreens TCPA settlement and deposited it. I hope you got paid, if you qualified!
That’s all for now. Have a wonderful week!
Warm Regards,
Scott Hardy

I am in third level of appealing or fighting an Aetna health insurance denial of coverage for ER visit in 2014 with acute bronchitis. I see no class actions or anything around this topic post 2014, other than mental health coverage denials. I have to go through the Dept. Of Labor, which my contact person is in Pasedena, CA. She has guided me in my correspondence with Aetna, written them herself, and tried to speak with contact person at United Airlines (contracted Aetna to manage the claims). Do you have anyone else sharing the story of how unethically Aetna is conducting themselves? I need to find a class action group with whom to raise awareness. Regards.
I see that a settlement by Cablevision is not listed on your website as I received an email from them. Are you aware if this is this a valid settlement?
Hi Steve, Here is the link to the Cablevision settlement article on Topclassactions.com: https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/333683-cablevision-cable-tv-set-top-box-class-action-settlement/. Is this the settlement you are referring to? Thanks!
