According to the data breach notice submitted to the Office of the Maine Attorney General on May 21, the incident involved unauthorized electronic access to the records of 266,183 individuals.
The Radiology Associates of Richmond reports that the intrusion occurred on or around July 25, 2025, but does not detail when exactly the incident was first discovered.
A comprehensive forensic investigation and manual data review was completed on April 6, confirming that patient information may have been viewed or taken during the incident.
The Radiology Associates of Richmond website does not identify which specific data types were involved. Individual notification letters, sent on May 21, detail for each person what information may have been exposed or stolen.
