Lipozene and MetaboUp False Advertising Class Action Lawsuit
By Matt O’Donnell
According to the class action lawsuit, Obesity Research Institute uses bold fonts and “official looking seals” on its product packaging that lead consumers to believe that Lipozene and MataboUp diet pills are clinically proven to “reduce pounds of body fat and weight without a change in lifestyle.” The products also misleadingly state that not only users will lose weight merely by taking the product, but that 78% of each pound lost will be pure body fat.
“In reality, the too good to be true claims made by Obesity Research Institute are just that and the Defendant is and has been misrepresenting the effectiveness of its weight loss products to the general public in order to reap windfall profits,” the Lipozene and MataboUp class action lawsuit states.
As a result, consumers have been unfairly duped into paying $29.95 a bottle for diet pills that do not provide the advertising benefits “whatsoever.”
The MataboUp and Lipozene class action lawsuit is brought on behalf of all persons, nationwide, who purchased Obesity Research Institute’s diet products, including a sub-class of California residents who purchased the products. It is seeking class certification, damages and restitution for alleged violations of the Consumers Legal Remedies Act, false advertising, unfair competition, breach of express warranty, and breach of implied warranty.
Various Trademarks held by their respective owners.

I bought mine online and I lost 20lbs! It works great! Just make sure to drink plenty of water.
seriously, eating right and exercising will help you loose weight. if you read up on the ingredients in this “super” pill you’ll realize its useless. spend the money on educating yourself on nutrition
I agree jenny
This is my first time taking this pills how many do you take of lipozene and metaboup per day
I was mislead also when I bought this product, I still have some pills left over.
David this is more or less what I just posted lol….I tell ya what I know it works just like you do, it’s like the ole song says “something for nothing” I’m bound and determined to get back into the 200’s again, mainly because I miss sports and I have two boys one in baseball and one will be starting tee ball soon and I’ve gotta get out there with them, so keep on keeping on
so the box doesn’t say to exercise or eat healthy, that means a lot of people don’t have the common sense to pour pee out of a boot with the directions written on the heel…..that being said I started taking it mid February at that time I weighed 330, now me being kinda smart I cut my sugar intake down (sodas, energy drinks, cookies, candy, etc) and started getting more active, I weighed myself yesterday at work (fedex scale) because they are really accurate and I’m now down to 318, this makes me very happy, so have some common sense folks, because it’s not printed on the box doesn’t mean you have to keep doing what you’re doing, is the box misleading maybe it’s just common sense
Yes they sell it at Walmart
LLLLLOOOOOLLLLL
YOUR SO RIGHT!!!!!
They sell it at Walmart??
Yes they sell it at Walmart
I tried Lipozene and Metaboup 3 years ago and i did lose alot of weight. I believe most of it was due to my committing to a better diet and exercise. When i stopped doing that the weight came back on. It’s possible Lipozene kept me active, but despite what they say, you “DO” have to change your “Lifestyle” to make it work. Unfortunately you can’t believe everything they say. There is no “Free Trial” and like everything else it’s a marketing scam. Once you order, the price goes up and they can charge whatever they want to your Credit Card and there is no Refund. I say if you want to try it, buy it off the shelf, but it takes time and commitment to work.
