I have a 55 plasma that has issues also
I have a LG 60PZ950 that lost picture but still delivers sound, and was a year old when this happened.
We have a 60in plasma model no 60PG30F…only 4-1/2 years old that we took out an extended warranty which was used twice within first two years…now the tv overheated and cracked inside the screen…we contacted LG…they suggested we threw something at it and will not stand by their product
My LG 55ld520 is begining to give me problems. It the screen will suddenly fade to black. If I turn the set off and wait a few minutes, it generally comes back on. I’m waiting for the day it won’t come back on. When will you be adding LG55ld520 to your list
Hi I’ve had my LG 42PJ350 Plasma for only almost two years and it started having trouble turning on. The screen would be black but you will hear sound from whatever channel it’s on. I used to be able to just turn it off and on a couple times and the screen will appear. Just today it has completely gone out just sound no picture. Not even doing what I said I did would work. I see the list of TVs on here they should add in the LG42PJ350 also. I really thought LG was a good tv so that’s why I picked it up a RC Willey. Now the thing that stinks is I don’t have Thant many more payments left and this happens. I refuse to pay for something that doesn’t work…
We bought a 42″ lg lcd television in December 2010 but about a month ago it started turning itself off and taking forever to get it to stay on.
My LG 50 Plasma popped and went black. Still has audio but no video. Have had board replaced 1 time already and after 2 months went out again …same problem!!! After some searching i have found out there are over 200 instances of this same model and namebrand with exactly the same issues. Please help!!
Hope to find out more about the law suit.
I have the 55LX9500. Less than a year after buying it black lines started showing up. Less than 2 years after buying it, it’s bad enough that we’re looking for a new TV. The LG technician charged us $90 to tell us the backlight panel costs more than a new TV- so to just buy a new TV. I’ve heard of a lot of people with this same problem. I expect the useful life of a $2000 TV to be more than two years. Can you start a suit for the LG LED tvs also?
We purchased a 47″LG LED tv. We bought the extended warranty through HH Gregg. We have had the same problem twice. The first time the board did not go completely out but it was replaced. This time the TV was all white and after a week, someone showed up to look at the TV. The repairman, called the office and gave the info on what he found. The repairman said he was told it was the motherboard. A motherboard was ordered. About a week later, the repairman showed up with the motherboard, installed it, only to find out that it is not the motherboard and that it is the same board that was replaced before. Now, we have to wait another week for them to send another board and during this time we are without a television. The warranty says that if they have to repair the same problem twice, the product will be replaced. This is like pulling teeth. Now that they have been told it is the same problem, they want us to wait until they make a decision on whether or not they should approve a new tv. It is almost a month since we started this campaign to get this television repaired. I have never experienced anything like this before. I am wondering if you are also including LG LED tv’s in the suit as well.
