Essen Medical Associates data breach settlement
Essen Medical Associates agreed to pay $4 million to resolve allegations that it failed to protect patient information in a 2023 data breach. The class action lawsuit alleged the company failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures, resulting in the exposure of sensitive data, including Social Security numbers and health insurance information.
The settlement benefits U.S. residents whose personal information may have been compromised in the Essen Medical Associates data breach between March 14 and 22, 2023.
Claim Deadline: June 1, 2026
Potential Award: Up to $5,000 for documented losses or up to $100 cash payment
Valsartan, Losartan and Irbesartan settlement
Aurobindo, Hetero and Vivimed agreed to settlements totaling more than $15.2 million to resolve allegations that certain valsartan and other blood pressure medications were contaminated with cancer-causing substances. The class action lawsuit claimed consumers were not warned about the drugs being contaminated with nitrosamine impurities, causing them to pay for allegedly defective medications.
The settlement benefits consumers who purchased valsartan, losartan or irbesartan manufactured by Aurobindo, Hetero or Vivimed during certain periods between Jan. 1, 2016, and the present.
Claim Deadline: June 2, 2026
Potential Award: Up to $200 cash payment for Aurobindo class members and up to $120 for Hetero
GlaxoSmithKline Boostrix settlement
GlaxoSmithKline agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to resolve allegations that its “Big Bad Cough” advertising campaign misled consumers about the effectiveness of the Boostrix vaccine against whooping cough. The class action lawsuit alleged the campaign falsely suggested the vaccine could prevent the spread of whooping cough.
The settlement benefits adults who viewed the “Big Bad Cough” campaign while living in New York between May 20, 2016, and May 20, 2020, and chose to receive the Boostrix vaccine.
Claim Deadline: June 8, 2026
Potential Award: $50 with qualifying proof of vaccination; $10 without qualifying proof of vaccination
Trader Joe’s FACTA settlement
Trader Joe’s agreed to pay $7.4 million to resolve allegations that it violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) by printing too much payment card information on customer receipts. The class action lawsuit alleged the company printed the first six and last four digits of card numbers despite FACTA only permitting the last five digits to appear on receipts.
The settlement benefits consumers whose payment card was used at a Trader Joe’s store between March 5, 2019, and July 19, 2019, and who received a receipt displaying the first six and last four digits of the card number.

Potential Award: An estimated $102.45
Grubhub driver misclassification settlement
Grubhub agreed to pay $24.75 million to resolve allegations that it misclassified California drivers as independent contractors instead of employees. The class action lawsuit alleged the company denied drivers benefits and protections required under California worker classification laws.
The settlement benefits Grubhub independent contractors who used the platform to accept or complete at least one delivery in California between Dec. 3, 2014, and March 13, 2026.

Potential Award: Minimum of $25
Complete Payroll Solutions data breach settlement
Complete Payroll Solutions agreed to pay $2.6 million to resolve allegations that it failed to protect employee information in a 2024 data breach. According to the class action lawsuit, the company failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures, resulting in the exposure of sensitive data, including Social Security numbers and insurance information.
The settlement benefits individuals who received a data breach notice from Complete Payroll Solutions regarding the March 2024 data breach.
Claim Deadline: June 18, 2026
Potential Award: Up to $5,000 for documented losses, an estimated $100 payout and three years of credit monitoring
Avis data breach settlement
Avis agreed to a class action settlement to resolve allegations that its negligence led to a 2024 data breach that compromised consumer information. The class action lawsuit alleged the company failed to adequately protect payment card information and other sensitive data from unauthorized access.
The settlement benefits individuals whose personal information was compromised in the Avis data breach in August 2024.
Claim Deadline: June 21, 2026
Potential Award: Up to $5,000 for out-of-pocket losses or a pro rata cash payment
Krispy Kreme data breach settlement
Krispy Kreme agreed to pay $1.6 million to resolve allegations that it failed to protect consumer information in a 2024 data breach. The class action lawsuit alleged the breach exposed sensitive information, including payment card data and Social Security numbers, because Krispy Kreme failed to maintain adequate data security safeguards.
The settlement benefits individuals who received a data breach notice from Krispy Kreme stating their private information may have been compromised in a data breach discovered on Nov. 29, 2024.
Claim Deadline: June 22, 2026
Potential Award: Up to $3,500 in documented losses or a $75 pro rata cash payout
Lakeview Loan Servicing data breach settlement
Lakeview Loan Servicing agreed to a $26 million settlement to resolve claims that it negligently failed to implement data security measures following a 2021 data breach. The class action lawsuit alleged Lakeview should have had cybersecurity protections in place before the breach to prevent unauthorized access to consumer data, including Social Security numbers and loan numbers.
The settlement benefits individuals who received notice from Lakeview Loan Servicing stating their personally identifiable information may have been compromised in a data breach on Oct. 11, 2021.
Claim Deadline: June 22, 2026
Potential Award: Up to $5,000 for out-of-pocket losses, a pro rata cash payment and an additional pro rata payment for California residents
Tyson and Cargill beef price-fixing settlement
Tyson and Cargill agreed to pay $87.5 million to resolve allegations that they conspired with other beef processors to inflate the price of beef products. The class action lawsuit alleged the companies violated federal antitrust laws by coordinating to limit competition and maintain higher beef prices, causing consumers to overpay.
The settlement benefits consumers who indirectly purchased beef products made from chuck, loin, rib or round primal cuts in certain states between Aug. 1, 2014, and Dec. 31, 2019.
