Consumers may be eligible to claim cash payments, reimbursements and other benefits from 10 class action settlements closing in August. These settlements involve major companies, including Comcast, Google, Tinder, State Farm, Delta Dental and Fanatics. Here’s a breakdown of who may qualify, when to file and what you could receive.

Shimano defective crankset settlement

Shimano agreed to a class action settlement to resolve allegations that certain bicycle cranksets were defectively designed. The class action lawsuit alleged the cranksets could delaminate and separate while in use, creating a serious risk of injury to riders.

The settlement benefits consumers who owned a bicycle equipped with a Shimano crankset manufactured before July 2019.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 4, 2026

Potential Award: Reimbursement of documented repair expenses, extended warranty and enhanced inspections

Nutricost magnesium glycinate settlement

Nutricost agreed to pay $1.83 million to resolve allegations that it mislabeled its magnesium glycinate supplements. The class action lawsuit alleged the company falsely advertised its products as containing 420 mg of magnesium glycinate per two-capsule serving, even though that amount allegedly could not physically fit in two capsules.

The settlement benefits consumers who purchased Nutricost magnesium glycinate supplements labeled as containing 420 mg of magnesium per serving in 120-capsule or 240-capsule bottles between Feb. 1, 2021, and June 8, 2026.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 7, 2026

Potential Award: Cash payment based on the number of supplements purchased

Onsite Mammography data breach settlement

Onsite Mammography agreed to pay $2.525 million to resolve allegations that it failed to protect patients’ personal information in a 2024 data breach. The class action lawsuit alleged the company failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures, allowing cybercriminals to access sensitive patient information.

The settlement benefits individuals who received a data breach notice from Onsite Mammography stating that their information may have been compromised in the October 2024 data breach.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 11, 2026

Potential Award: Up to $5,000 in out-of-pocket expenses and a pro rata cash payment

Comcast data breach settlement

Comcast agreed to pay $117.5 million to resolve allegations that it failed to protect customers’ personal information in a 2023 data breach. According to the class action lawsuit, the company failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity safeguards, enabling hackers to access sensitive consumer information.

The settlement benefits consumers who received a Comcast data breach notification stating that their information may have been compromised in a data breach that occurred between Oct. 16 and 19, 2023.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 14, 2026

Potential Award: Up to $10,000 in documented losses or a pro rata payout of $50

Tinder Plus and Tinder Gold age discrimination settlement

Tinder agreed to pay $60.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it discriminated against older users by charging them higher prices for Tinder Plus and Tinder Gold subscriptions. The class action lawsuit claimed Tinder’s age-based pricing violated California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act and Unfair Competition Law.

The settlement covers California residents who purchased Tinder Plus or Tinder Gold on or after March 2, 2015, while older than 29, or on or after March 2, 2016, while older than 28.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 18, 2026

Potential Award: Cash payment based on the amount paid for Tinder Plus or Gold subscriptions

Arkansas State Farm total loss claims settlement

State Farm agreed to pay $15.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it undervalued total loss vehicles in Arkansas by applying “typical negotiation adjustments” to valuation reports, reducing claim payments below what policyholders were owed.

The settlement covers Arkansas residents who submitted a first-party claim under a State Farm policy between Nov. 29, 2016, and Oct. 18, 2021, whose vehicles were declared total losses and whose claim payments were based on an Audatex report that included a typical negotiation adjustment.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 19, 2026

Potential Award: An estimated $489

Delta Dental web tracking settlement

Wyssta Services agreed to pay $12.67 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it tracked Delta Dental plan members’ online activity without their consent. The lawsuit claimed the tracking violated the federal Electronic Communications Privacy Act and the Illinois Eavesdropping Statute.

The settlement covers individuals who maintained an account on the Delta Dental healthcare portal between Jan. 23, 2021, and Jan. 23, 2025.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 20, 2026

Potential Award: $16.50 cash payment

Google Assistant privacy settlement

Google agreed to pay $68 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging Google Assistant recorded users’ communications without their consent. The lawsuit claimed the voice assistant captured audio through false activations — without an intentional trigger phrase such as “OK, Google” — and shared those recordings with third-party reviewers to help improve speech recognition.

The settlement covers individuals whose communications were recorded by Google Assistant because of a false activation or disclosed to a third-party review vendor between May 18, 2016, and March 19, 2026.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 27, 2026

Potential Award: An estimated $2 to $56 depending on the type of class

BMW shark-fin antenna settlement

BMW agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging certain vehicles were equipped with defective shark-fin antennas. The class action lawsuit claimed the antennas’ faulty seals allowed water to leak into the vehicles, potentially damaging internal components.

The settlement covers current and former owners and lessees of 2019–2020 BMW X3, X4, X5, X6 and X7 vehicles.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 27, 2026

Potential Award: Reimbursement for past repairs related to the defect or free repair and warranty extension

Fanatics handling fees settlement

Fanatics agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it charged customers hidden handling fees despite advertising free or flat-rate shipping on its websites. The class action lawsuit claimed the practice violated Florida law.

The settlement covers consumers who purchased merchandise through Fanatics websites and paid a handling fee between May 6, 2018, and March 30, 2026.

Claim Deadline: Aug. 27, 2026

Potential Award: Two $5 vouchers toward a single purchase on the Fanatics.com website
