Little Sleepies recalls bibs due to choking hazard

Pajama company Little Sleepies initiated a recall for its Sleepyhead Loveys and Bandana Bibs over concerns their care instruction label can detach, posing a choking hazard for young children. 

The recall involves around 450,000 of the Sleepyhead Loveys and Bandana Bibs sold in the United States and around 3,331 items sold in Canada, according to a recall the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission posted Oct. 12. 

Little Sleepies says it received two reports of the care instruction labels on the recalled baby bibs detaching, with no reports of injuries at this time. 

Consumers should stop using Little Sleepies Sleepyhead Loveys and Bandana Bibs 

Consumers should immediately take the recalled Sleepyhead Loveys and Bandana Bibs away from children and either remove the care instruction label from the product or return the products for a full refund. 

Little Sleepies sold the recalled Sleepyhead Loveys and Bandana Bibs on its website and at boutique stores across the country from February 2021 to September 2023 for $12 to $48.
