Macy’s agreed to pay $10.5 million to resolve a class action lawsuit claiming CVC Sheets were falsely advertised with an inflated thread count. Proof of purchase may not be required for class members to benefit from the settlement.
The settlement benefits consumers who purchased one or more CVC Sheets supplied by AQ Textiles LLC from a Macy’s store between Nov. 8, 2013, and March 24, 2023.
The Macy’s class action lawsuit claims CVC Sheets were labeled with an inflated thread count. This alleged false advertising caused consumers to overpay for the sheet sets, the plaintiffs contend.
Macy’s is a national retailer. The department store sells CVC Sheets supplied by AQ Textiles.
Macy’s hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $10.5 million settlement to resolve the CVC Sheets false advertising class action lawsuit.
Under the terms of the settlement, class members can receive a cash payment based on the number of CVC Sheets they purchased from Macy’s.
Claimants who provide proof of purchase or whose purchases can be verified by Macy’s records can receive up to $7.50 per unit of CVC Sheets purchased.
Claimants without proof of purchase can receive up to $2.50 per household, regardless of the number of sheets they purchased.
If the number of claims exceeds the net settlement fund, payments may be reduced on a pro rata basis.
The deadline for exclusion and objection is Sept. 6, 2023.
The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for Oct. 20, 2023.
In order to receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form within 180 of the effective date. Based on the scheduled final approval hearing, the current estimated claim form deadline is April 17, 2024, but may be subject to change.

I am trying to find a attorney who is handling the Comcast Xfinity class action suit could you please direct me in the right direction so I may contact them I have just become aware of another claim against Comcast Xfinity for sending me phone that I didn’t order and refused to accept it and returned it immediately to the delivery company who returned it.i am being charged for the phone after they told me that they have received it in good condition but continue to charge my m/c debit card which I don’t understand the phone was returned and they have been charging me fees since Oct 21 23 monthly service fees and a return to stock fee of $35.00 one minute they charge me a monthly fee and then they charge me a fee for phone use when they state they have the phone back in their possession and continue to charge me even after cancelling the order I didn’t place all I did was call and ask what the phones cost I was asked for my debit card number and I told them I didn’t have my card that my wife was grocery shopping and had the card I was asked to hold on for a minute and when she came back I was told that I was alset and the phone would be shipped shortly i said no I don’t want it how did you get my card number she said I placed it on your discover card I immediately told her that I didn’t have a discover card how could she place it on an account I don’t have didn’t get no response except thank you for contacting Comcast Xfinity for your mobile service carrier i was saying no, no no and I was hung up on i have been contacting them on a daily basis talking with reps who were just pacifying me and when I asked for a supervisor I got someone who said that they cancelled everything out and I owe nothing don’t worry he took care of everything but two days later I received notice that I owed them my bill for service and they showed me a phone number and a account number when I refused to pay they sent me a message saying that they were going to take this month payment of my cable TV account again on jan 14Th 2024. Even after talking to the fraud unit I have gotten no where. Please, please help me they owe me money from Oct 21 23 to the present
