The Macy’s class action lawsuit claims CVC Sheets were labeled with an inflated thread count. This alleged false advertising caused consumers to overpay for the sheet sets, the plaintiffs contend.
Macy’s is a national retailer. The department store sells CVC Sheets supplied by AQ Textiles.
Macy’s hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $10.5 million settlement to resolve the CVC Sheets false advertising class action lawsuit.
Under the terms of the settlement, class members can receive a cash payment based on the number of CVC Sheets they purchased from Macy’s.
Claimants who provide proof of purchase or whose purchases can be verified by Macy’s records can receive up to $7.50 per unit of CVC Sheets purchased.
Claimants without proof of purchase can receive up to $2.50 per household, regardless of the number of sheets they purchased.
If the number of claims exceeds the net settlement fund, payments may be reduced on a pro rata basis.
The deadline for exclusion and objection is Sept. 6, 2023.
The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for Oct. 20, 2023.
In order to receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form within 180 of the effective date. Based on the scheduled final approval hearing, the current estimated claim form deadline is April 17, 2024, but may be subject to change.

I have been a loyal customer for over 14 years. I can’t believe they allow my personal information. To be leaked. Now my personal info to be on a data breach. This is the awful.
This isn’t even about a data breach. It’s about a recall for bed sheets from Macys
I also have been trying to find either a class action lawsuit for Xfinity, been a customer for over (a loyal on time payment) 34 years , iwhen I received a notice that my account had been included in this breach of my account and sensitive information, that’s the last straw!! Please include me! Thank you!, I did I couldn’t remember if I went all the way through the process

Add you to what? This is about bed sheets from Macys, not a data breach
This is about bed sheets from Macys, not a data breach from Xfinity. I can’t understand how people don’t even read the article before they comment. Besides, you can’t file a claim through the comment section of a website anyway. You actually have to submit a claim through the site the attorney set up for the lawsuit
