Wawa has issued a recall for specific 16 oz. Wawa iced tea and lemonade products due to the risk of an undeclared milk allergen. This recall affects a limited number of stores across Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia.

The Wawa recall, announced on April 3, involves Wawa Iced Tea Lemon, Iced Tea Diet Lemon, Diet Lemonade and Fruit Punch. These products, produced by the Wawa Beverage Company, have been pulled from shelves and disposed of in the affected stores.

The recall was initiated following the identification and correction of a temporary equipment issue that may have led to the presence of milk in these products, according to the recall notice.

“People who have allergies to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product,” the recall says.
