Westminster, London’s Central Hall of Westminster will host Perfect Law’s two-day 2023 Global Class Actions and Mass Torts Conference from April 27-28.
The conference is the largest of its kind and will feature renowned speakers, including Scott Hardy, Top Class Actions (TCA) founder and CEO.
Hardy, who will speak during the event’s Panel 3 on April 28, founded TCA in 2008 with a goal of consolidating and clarifying news about class action lawsuits in a way that would be friendly and easy for consumers to understand.
Other speakers include Sir Marcus Smith, president of the Competition Tribunal; Eric Cramer, chairman of Montague; Loree Kovach, vice president of client services at Epiq; Katja Nikolaus, CBDO of claims management platform June; and many others.
Standard tickets for the conference are £1,000 each. However, those interested in attending the event can receive a 50% discount on tickets by entering code “top class action 50” when registering online.
Perfect Law describes the conference as a “great hub to meet the biggest players in the world to discuss and expand common interests” and says it will bring together “leading academics, members of the judiciary, regulators and class action experts.”
“Experts from around the globe will share their knowledge on seeking collective redress and improving access to justice,” the company writes on the event website.
Conference topics include class certification, privacy, data breaches
Day One of the Global Class Actions and Mass Torts Conference will feature presentations on class certification and representation, required funding, quantifying damages, settlements, the special role of the judge in collective redress cases and cross-border litigation.
Day Two will have talks on privacy and data breaches, environmental, social and governance, competition, abuse of dominant positions, anticompetitive agreements and practices, securities and investor claims, mass torts and product liability concerning medical devices and drugs.
