olympic-rescueit-lawsuitOlympic Rescue It, a sealant  advertised to be the ultimate remedy for paint peeling from wood or concrete, is drawing the ire of consumers who are frustrated the product is not performing as advertised.

Olympic Rescue It is an acrylic coating that is supposed to be waterproof. The company promises satisfaction to the customer as the customer follows the provided instructions. However, this has turned out not be to the case for many customers.

While Olympic does not specify the amount of time the stain will last, many consumers say it failed after just one season. Those who have used the product described the wood sealant bubbling and then peeling, sometimes within months.

Experts recommend consumers consider this advice when using wood stain:

  • Read the instructions carefully, and closely watch online tutorials.
  • Do not skip any steps of the coating process.
  • Consider the next step is coating fails.
