Nissan initiated a recall for 20,051 of its 2022-2024 Infiniti QX60 vehicles due to an issue with the vehicles’ Adaptive Front-Light System (AFS).

The Infiniti recall notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says the headlight issue can lead to reduced vision and therefore crashes.

Nissan says it will mail owner notification letters for the Infinity recall by Jan. 12.

Dealers to fix Infiniti Intelligent Power Distribution Module settings

Nissan did not indicate if it received any reports of injury related to the recall. The company is not facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

Infiniti dealers will reconfigure the Intelligent Power Distribution Module (IPDM) settings free of charge as part of the recall.

Vehicle owners may contact Nissan customer service at (800) 867-7669 using recall no. PC994. Owners may also contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at (888) 327-4236 or visit nhtsa.gov.

Nissan fitted some of its Nissan and Infiniti vehicles with obsolete 3G modem technology that rendered many of their online features useless, a 2022 class action lawsuit alleges.
