  • Where: The recall impacts consumers nationwide.

Doctors Scientific Organica has initiated a voluntary recall for three batches of Burn Boot Camp brand whey protein bars over concerns they were contaminated with foreign material, including disposable hairnet, shrink wrap and parchment paper.

The recall involves Burn Boot Camp Triple Chocolate Almond Flavored Whey Protein Bars with lot codes 181, 184 and 187 that were distributed through Burn Bootcamp retail locations and on its website to locations around the US.

Burn Boot Camp said it has not received any reports of injuries or illnesses in connection with the recall, but that it is conducting the recall “out of an abundance of caution” after consumers contacted it about the issue.

The quality, safety and integrity of our products remain our number one priority. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action represents to our consumers and retail customers,” the Burn Boot Camp recall states.
