Details: The Sensa weight loss settlement will resolve a false advertising class action lawsuit, entitled Correa v. Sensa Products, LLC, that alleges Sensa tricked consumers into buying its “weight-loss” crystals by using marketing claims not backed by scientific proof. Sensa denies these allegations and contends that its marketing claims are substantiated by three product studies and scientific research regarding neurology and the science of smell and taste, but has agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to avoid the expense of ongoing litigation.

Class Members of the Sensa class action settlement include all U.S. consumers who purchased Sensa prior to August 21, 2012. If the court grants final approval to the Sensa settlement at the November 7, 2012 Final Fairness Hearing, Class Members who submit a Claim Form will receive a share of the $6 million settlement fund. The amount of money you will receive from the Sensa settlement will depend on, among other things, how many of the 2.6 million Class Members submit a timely and valid Claim Form.

Claim Forms must be submitted online at www.WeightLossSettlement.com or to the Settlement Administrator postmarked no later than December 13, 2012.

    No word on this yet.

  2. Steve Andres says:

I am contacting you to inform you of the dangers of the product called Sensa. My wife, Mary, had used the product for a couple of weeks when she started feeling odd. Upon quitting using the product she became manic and psychotic. I had to take her to Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati to get checked out at the ER. She was admitted into their psych ward for over 3 days. She has never displayed this type of behavior before nor does she have a past history of this. I wish to sue the makers of Sensa for damages caused and medical expenses as well. Thank you, Steve

Just remember people, This settlement is handled by GCG or Garden City Group means B.S… FTC reasons weight loss product crap hundreds or thousands of rejection without telling us as to those who are tagged or black listed in their database..Garden City Group needs to change their name to Garbage City Group.

  7. Aria Sequoia says:

I, too lost money. $200. I, too, would like to know what the status of refunding is. I know the lawyers are expected to receive one-half of the settlement. I hope people are going to receive full refunds, especially those who suffered adverse side affects. It would not be at all fair if those who suffered got a small fraction of what they lost and the lawyers got a lot of money.
