Details: The Sensa weight loss settlement will resolve a false advertising class action lawsuit, entitled Correa v. Sensa Products, LLC, that alleges Sensa tricked consumers into buying its “weight-loss” crystals by using marketing claims not backed by scientific proof. Sensa denies these allegations and contends that its marketing claims are substantiated by three product studies and scientific research regarding neurology and the science of smell and taste, but has agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to avoid the expense of ongoing litigation.
Class Members of the Sensa class action settlement include all U.S. consumers who purchased Sensa prior to August 21, 2012. If the court grants final approval to the Sensa settlement at the November 7, 2012 Final Fairness Hearing, Class Members who submit a Claim Form will receive a share of the $6 million settlement fund. The amount of money you will receive from the Sensa settlement will depend on, among other things, how many of the 2.6 million Class Members submit a timely and valid Claim Form.

I just heard about the lawsuit on the today show. I was using sensa and had an appendix attack. I had cancer in my appendix and colon. I never lost weight with this product and i
feel it did contibute to my sickness.
I bought this stuff almost a year ago for my aunt. She retained fluid from it. I called & was told to have her drink more water. Ok. She’s retaining water from it & you want her to drink more. Why were they allowed to keep selling when there were so many problems & a lawsuit?? Why didn’t the government shut them down? If a drug is found to be bad, it is removed. Look at Excedrin. Now, all of us who bought this after the dead line are screwed. This is not right. They need to reimburse all our money for this fraud product. I have the receipts. Sensa needs to take responsibility & start refunding. After all, they made ALOT of $$ off this scam. Bernie Madoff got prison for his scam. Perhaps the head of this company need to share his cell.
Purchased 6 months of sensa back in 2010 or 2011. Why was I not notified of this lawsuit? I received nothing. I had to find out about this on the news this morning and I want to be included.
Girl me too. Now, “I’m mad as hell” that I was not able to receive any of my money back, and I used it for six months also. Maybe we should try to start another one(law suite). I feel that we should also be awarded for our damages.
I am not an avid computer user, why is today 8January 2014, the first time I’m hearing of this? I just heard about it on the news, and I’m not eligible, that just sucks, I wasted a lot of money and time on this product, plus the Drs.bills for stomach problems.

the appeals process is over and they are still processing the claims hopefully we will receive a check before Christmas good luck everyone and Happy Holidays to GCG they are doing and absolute good job
