Telebrands Corporation has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it made false and misleading statements regarding its Pocket Hose expandable garden hoses. If you purchased Pocket Hose products, you may be entitled to a cash payment from this class action settlement.
The Pocket Hose class action lawsuit alleges Telebrands made false and misleading statements in connection with the sale and marketing of certain Pocket Hose products. The plaintiffs also assert that the Pocket Hose products are defective.
The Pocket Hose was reportedly first introduced through television infomercials. The expandable garden hose was advertised as “a rugged and durable garden hose” that is “strong enough for any job.”
However, consumers have complained that the Pocket Hose is defective because it is prone to leak or burst when used in the manner advertised. This defect renders the Pocket Hose useless, the consumers allege.
Telebrands denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle the Pocket Hose class action lawsuit to avoid the expense and uncertainty of litigation. The Telebrands class action settlement was preliminarily approved on Nov. 4, 2016.
If you would like to exclude yourself from or object to the Pocket Hose settlement, you must do so no later than Feb. 20, 2017.
Telebrands has previously agreed to settle a class action lawsuit involving similar allegations. That Pocket Hose settlement provided cash benefits to consumers who purchased the products between Nov. 6, 2009 and Jan. 30, 2014.

Wah wah wah. I filed my claim without a problem. These hoses were crap but good grief, if you can’t figure out how to fill out an online claim, maybe you don’t NEED it.
I put my “online order number” where it asked for my SS number. It accepted it. Probably wont get anything anyways. Not giving out my SS# unless I am contacted my a lawyer.
would not allow me to enter dates, so I could not file o n line.
You should contact the settlement administrator with any questions about the claim filing process. You can also print out a claim form to fill out and mail. Good luck!
AL, you stated this BS a lot more polite than I would have.
It wouldn’t let me out dates in. Sadly I bought 2 because one broke and I didn’t have the receipt to return it because I bought it through publishers clearance house, stupid thing cost me $50. The 2nd one I paid $30 at Rite aid for it. Why would I have a receipt after a year? This settlement is BS.
Still not able to put dates into the file. Don’t have a printer. How else do I file?
Require SS security number, bullshit.
Exactly why I will not clam my refund!! What a rip off!!!
Absolutely, positively NO REASON WHATSOEVER for SS# to be needed to file a claim. Smells like FRAUD!
For SSN, I just typed UKN. It worked.
Called the 1-800 number to hear a bot. Robot’s voices skips and can’t understand instructions. Unable to get information needed. I have purchased two products labeled “The pocket hose”. One hose is black the other green. Unable to determine if these products are part of the class action settlement.
Your thoughts?
First they threaten you for using a link from this website then they require your social security number to collect. What, do the greedy poor losers attorneys get to pocket any leftover settlement money, is that why they do everything in their power to keep people from collecting? Don’t make crappy products & you won’t get sued.
Requires you to give them your social security number for a $7 settlement, total BS.
That’s the first thing I thought! Don’t see how that’s even legal.
