Details: The Mini-Wheats settlement will resolve a four-year-old class action lawsuit (Dennis v. Kellogg Co.) that accuses Kellogg of falsely advertising that Mini-Wheats improved kids’ attentiveness, memory and other cognitive functions to a degree not supported by competent clinical evidence.
Kellogg stands by its advertising and denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to establish a $4 million class action lawsuit settlement fund to refund consumers and resolve the litigation. A federal judge preliminarily approved the class action settlement on May 5, 2013.
Class Members of the Frosted-Mini Wheats class action settlement include anyone who purchased the cereal in the United States between January 28, 2008 and October 1, 2009.
Class Members may seek reimbursement of $5 per box of cereal purchased, up to a maximum of three boxes ($15).
The only way to receive a cash payment is to submit a valid claim online at www.CerealSettlement.com no later than November 29, 2013.

The original settlement was appealed and ultimately not approved. A revised settlement has been neg. Details regarding the revised settlement will be available shortly. If you submitted a claim in prior settlement, you do not have to submit another claim. You will automatically be paid based on original claim and number of boxes selected.

I just spoke with GCG and was told that the renegotiation has been completed. The updated settlement terms will be posted to the website shortly. I asked how shortly and I was told to check the web site. The judge was not happy with the compensation for the consumer and required a renegotiation; I am hoping that means claimants will receive more than the original said amount.
should not be that much longer and yes if you have your claim number or the phone numbers you can call them it get information as to having your check go to your new address. Is that the answer you’re looking for?
stop lying….this is in appeals, that is another year at least. and once it comes out they wont send out checks for another few months.

The case is being appealed so may take another year or two.
