Details: The Mini-Wheats settlement will resolve a four-year-old class action lawsuit (Dennis v. Kellogg Co.) that accuses Kellogg of falsely advertising that Mini-Wheats improved kids’ attentiveness, memory and other cognitive functions to a degree not supported by competent clinical evidence.
Kellogg stands by its advertising and denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to establish a $4 million class action lawsuit settlement fund to refund consumers and resolve the litigation. A federal judge preliminarily approved the class action settlement on May 5, 2013.
Class Members of the Frosted-Mini Wheats class action settlement include anyone who purchased the cereal in the United States between January 28, 2008 and October 1, 2009.
Class Members may seek reimbursement of $5 per box of cereal purchased, up to a maximum of three boxes ($15).
The only way to receive a cash payment is to submit a valid claim online at www.CerealSettlement.com no later than November 29, 2013.

UPDATE 2: On Apr. 18, 2016, Class Members who submitted timely and valid claims for the Kellogg’s settlement began receiving checks worth as much as $11.44.

Seriously is the FTC i.e Federal Trade Commission really working to help consumers?
Then why do they deny claims that is submitted and is valid?
Are they in cohorts with the defendants?
I brought Frosted Mini-Wheats since 1983 for the entire family..We used at least 4 box per month or more. There are five (5) in our family.
I Have purchased way more than 3 boxes of Kellogg’s Mini Wheats and on a weekly basis I go through at least 2 boxes each week because of my niece and nephrews that is their favorite! So in conclusion, I have purchased at least 96 boxes in a year.
