President of TCA

Good morning everyone!

I hope you had a GREAT week! I was in Las Vegas last week for a conference. It’s a big one—with more than 750 plaintiff attorneys in attendance. It was also one of my busiest conferences ever. I was booked with meetings from 10 AM – 11 PM every day. From client appointments to vendor meetings and conference events, it was a whirlwind! I’m excited to show you what I was up to over the next few months as new deals, and new clients, come on board!

I also got to meet some fans of Top Class Actions. A number of attorneys said, ‘YOU’RE TOP CLASS ACTIONS?!?!? WOWWWW! I LOVE YOUR SITE!’ That’s always a really awesome feeling. With more than a million sessions a month (and growing) we’ve got a BIG audience. Of course, it’s mainly consumers looking for cash they can claim, but we have a lot of lawyers who are signed up just to keep up with the latest case filings. As everyone here knows, we put out a LOT of content every week as we cover every class action we can find that we think could relate to our viewers. It’s great to hear from our viewers about how we’re helping them, both professionally and personally. This is a very rewarding job!

On the home front, it’s STILL BLEEDING HOT! What the heck? It’s the end of October, and we hit 100 yesterday. Thankfully, it’s cooling off during the evenings, but we’re ready for a mild winter and cooler days. Sydney and Aubrey are ready to break out their winter outfits and long sleeves! Come on Old Man Winter, start blowing the chill down our way! I hope you’re staying cool, or warm if you’re in Alaska, and safe!

We have a couple of new investigations we launched related to defective medical devices. One is for heart surgery patients who may have been exposed to a deadly infection as the result of a bacteria that made it into a device that is designed to maintain a healthy body temperature during surgery. There was also another major recall of Stryker hip implants. These types of stories are especially heartbreaking because of the serious pain they can cause to patients who are trying to take steps to improve their lives. If you know someone who may have been affected by one of these devices, pass this information on.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Warm Regards,

Scott Hardy
President
