Vivint class action lawsuitVivint mandatory training class action lawsuit lawyers have launched an investigation into whether or not the company adequately compensated employees who underwent seminars, lectures or other meetings in order to continue on their jobs.

The Department of Labor has established a four-step procedure for determining whether or not such activities must be considered as part of a worker’s hourly pay. In order for it to be uncompensated, “it is outside normal, it is voluntary, not job related, and no other work is concurrently performed,” according to a fact sheet discussing hours worked under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Just as companies cannot ask employees to clock out for breaks or before their shift is done, any mandatory training that does not meet all of those four standards must also be included in a worker’s pay. It is believed that Vivint may have possibly not done so in certain instances regarding its training. It is also possible that travel costs may have been incurred above and beyond those accounted for by the FLSA and Department of Labor regulations.

Vivint is a company with international operations that began as a home security company in 1997. It has expanded to provide home automation related to home security as well as solar panel installation in California and other states.

However, the company has also been linked to unpaid training class action lawsuits before. It was accused of robocalling cellular phones in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in two separate Vivint class action lawsuits, and the company has also either been charged or settled lawsuits regarding deceptive marketing practices or fined for code violations by 14 states.

The potential Vivint lawsuits would be similar to unpaid wage class action lawsuits regarding misclassification of workers as either exempt or subject to a tipped wage when they are not performing those kinds of duties. However, many people are only becoming aware more recently of the full scope of their rights as workers, including pay for mandatory training.

I have had numerous phone calls from a company called adapt health. I have spoken with their representatives and told them not to call me and they continue to do so. They have violated the TCPA and would like a lawyer to review the documentation that i have.

How much are collection agencies allowed to charge for their “services”? It seems Allied Trustee Services in Roseville, CA is taking more than half of my payment for various “fees” paid to them. If they’re doing this to me, they’re certainly doing this to many others.

check your state regulations. as a general rule I do not do business with a collection agency or attorney. I simply tell them as per the FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT, I AM HEREBY REQUESTING THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS CREATING THIS DEBT TO YOUR COMPANY
A SIGNED PROMISSORY NOTE BY ME TO YOUR COMPANY OR ANY DOCUMENTATION THAT I RECEIVED GOODS OR SERVICES FROM YOUR COMPANY. To me collection agencies are a scam that the unaware consumers are falling for daily. I also tell them I dispute the debt and do not contact me anymore and if they put anything negative on my credit report I will take legal action. Research the FCRA. there are several loopholes for the consumer that you can use without paying a dime to a credit repair agency.

I am going to tell young story that is 100% true and deception and instead of honesty sales were the only objective of the Garmin tech team.. I have a eye disease the requires me to need a bit more light. I spoke to a information Tec and his supervisor, she was nice but she said the light was very strong and I will have no problem with the light. So I took their word because they were the experts and we ordered 2 (One for me and One for Dr Ta-Ya Lee. When we came to us, we so so disappointed it was so dim and dark I could not see it and Ta-Ya said it was laughable, they sold us a bad bill of goods, I called back up and they told me to get new batteries and that cost us $25 for 4 batteries which should have been sent by Garmin but we just wanted the trackers so we knew how many steps we were taking and calories we were burning. Nothing happened and there was no difference, I found I had cancer so we just let it go for a while, hey it was $200 for two of them plus $25 fr us to replace batteries.

I joined “Silver and Fit” a benefit of my insurance, I was reading through benefits and I saw you get a tracker, wow a free tracker. I have been a loyal Garmin person for 20 years even though I was disappointed with the trackers purchased in September 2021. I ordered one for me and Ta-Ya ordered her own after talking to 2 tech reps, I actual called twice, just asking if there wer any changes and the reps both said that issue of dimness was fixed and I accepted that they said it was taken care of. My tracker was paid for and Ta-Ya $100 again, Well I have to be honest the trackers VIVOFIT $ were actually WORSE NOT BETTER. Are you kidding lying about a fix and they were actually worse, We compared the new ones to the ones we got in September, Worse!!!!!
I need you to take action, we purchased $400 (4 trackers) and $25 dollars for new batteries Garmin shpuld have provided so$425 I want you to sue for just from our issues. Please help me Garmin taking advantage of older people who as we all know our eyes start to have challenges at aroung 40 so at 63 and over BRIGHT should mean BRIGHT and redesign the product Silver and Fit is a big new benefit and they are taking advantage of millions of people. And Silver and Fit wont help with this issue they say they are a 3rd party, FIT BIT is truly much brighter I saw one today and I could read it., so there is plenty of blame to spread around here. Please get back to me ASAP>
    Thanks Richard

Class Action law suit against Sallie Mae, Navient and the other scandalous companies under government ripoff.
I have documentation dated back 15 years where I notified them that the student loans were fraudulent. I submitted all the documentation verifying the fraud , Including police reports etc Right now they are stealing funds from my disability funds to pay for this reported fraud.
This is a inside scam because they aren’t acknowledging the paperwork verifications..
Then they sent a letter suspending the reported debt if I file under disability. This is also part of the scam. Once I agree to this they don’t have to refund the money they’ve already taken.
They claim they never received the documents but this is a lie. They had to receive the affidavits in order to follow through with contacting me. This is a severe hardship due to being on a limited income and disability. I have all the documents and correspondences. I have spoken to other people randomly and they have experienced these same practices.
    Eye Thank you.
    Please contact me.

Made a couple charges to vietnam and cleaned out my bank. Contacted chime to.lock account before transactions posted they refused. Then disputed 3 times for them to tell me within 24 hours of the claim that they see no error for the one and only charge to vietnam in 2 years and to tell me it was valid to marketing company and refuse to give me my $695. Then told me the following day they changed my account to its original state no reasoning as this would have been a reason for refund. Them.proceeded to tell me they will forward the.proof that i made the transaction and to thjs day still have not. Inside job for sure. Single mom every penny counts. I need to file lawsuit against Ticketmaster, I purchased tickets to take my son to see Bert Kreischer at the Grand Ole’ Opry. I went to open the app and it refused to open when I would click “my events” – it would say page not available. Then I had to go to the Opry ticket area and ask for their assistance. I gave them my ID so they could look up my info – they stated that the name on the seats were different than mine, but she gave my son and myself a pass with the written information. We asked the Opry employees to help us locate the seats and we ended up walking UP, when the seats I purchased was not nose bleed seats ($300 tickets). The seating employees for the area tried to find the seats and gave us the bad news that the seats did not exist. All I could do was lean against the wall and cry; honestly – gets messed around by a company that is supposed to be honorable and well known is not a good thing. Opry management was nice enough to find us seats, but the fact that Ticketmaster sold us seats that did not exist makes them nothing but CRIMINALS – they are theives.

I keep receiving harassing text messages from these companies wanting to buy my home, I have do have about 4 or 5 text messages from these people trying to get me to sell my home. I think close to threatening me, or bullying me into selling them my home. Most of the texts these people were sending me, I did delete. I even threatened them with a lawsuits and they continued to harass me. I do have some messages where I explained to them what my home means to me. They still harass me, text messages. Sometimes I receive them everyday. Then I may not get any at all for maybe 7 to 10 days. Then they start up again. I have texted the word STOP! They continue.
