In a recall notice posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Fairmont Foods says the recalled boxes contain two bowls of dip each and have a net weight of 24 oz. (1 lb. 8 oz. or 680 g). The number #802 and the Product Information Code P82013 xxxx are located on the side of the box.
“People who have allergies or sensitivities to soy and wheat run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if the recalled product is consumed,” the company says in the notice, adding that to date, there have been no reported injuries or illnesses.

The dips were packed in the wrong packaging, the notice says, and they may have been distributed to the lower 48 states through Schwan’s home delivery network. The recalled product was not sold in retail stores.
Fairmont Foods is urging consumers to destroy the product and contact the company for a full refund.
