1800Flowers is facing allegations that it deceptively advertises prices that understate the total cost consumers will pay.

These claims include allegations of:

  • Hidden fees added at checkout: Customers allege that 1800Flowers advertises one price for flowers and gifts. Then, it adds a hidden service fee at the end of the checkout process. Because this fee is not disclosed up front, consumers may have paid more than they otherwise would have paid.
  • Deceptively labeled fees: Customers also allege that although 1800Flowers labels the charge a “service fee,” the fee is largely unrelated to any actual service. Instead, customers claim the charge is simply a way for 1800Flowers to increase its profits.

Attorneys are investigating these allegations and whether affected consumers may be able to recover compensation.

You may qualify for the 1800Flowers deceptive pricing legal actions if the following apply:

  • You purchased flowers or gifts from 1800Flowers.
  • If you are a California consumer, your purchase must have been made before July 1, 2024.
