Food Safety Recall Overview:

  • Who: Food safety agencies have issued recall notices for Little Debbie Mini Nutty Buddy, H-E-B stuffed shells, flat parsley, and Velvet Raspberry Fudge Cordial Ice Cream.
  • Why: The recalled food products present various safety hazards to consumers, warns the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), from undeclared allergens to E. Coli contamination.
  • Where: The recalls affect consumers in various states.

Time for consumers to check their fridges and pantries for Little Debbie Nutty Buddy, H-E-B stuffed shells, and other products affected by recent food recalls.

Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Recall

Some Little Debbie Mini Nutty Buddy Cookie Bites Sandwich Cookies may contain pecans, an allergen not listed on the products’ label, warned the FDA in a recent recall notice.

The recall affects 25 cases of the product distributed in Kentucky, North Carolina, and Tennessee. The Little Debbie Nutty Buddy snacks that might include pecans come in individual bags weighing 2.5 ounces. They have a best before date of December 24 and 25, according to the FDA.

Consumers who purchased the recalled Little Debbie Nutty Buddy products can contact the company for a refund.

Foreign Material in H-E-B Jumbo Stuffed Shells

Seviroli Foods, Inc recalled H-E-B Jumbo Stuffed Shells – 22 oz “out of an abundance of caution” this week, according to an FDA notice.

The company says that metal was discovered in the product and could cause physical injury to consumers. The recall affects products with a sell by date of July 7, 2022.

The metal in the H-E-B jumbo stuffed shells was found after four customers complained. The manufacturer says that consumers should discard the recalled product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Flat Parsley Recalled for Possible Health Risk

Buurma Plain (flat leaf) Parsley with a harvest date of August 30, 2021 has been recalled after a random sampling of the product revealed an E. Coli contamination, warns the FDA.

The recalled flat leaf parsley was distributed in several states, including Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, and South Carolina, earlier this month.

“Individual bunches of flat parsley sold to retailers for purchase by consumers would likely have a ‘BUURMA FARMS Plain Parsley’ twist-tie with a price look-up (PLU) number of 4901 and a UPC code of 33383 80125,” explains the recall notice which notes that parsley distributed via wholesale will have red rubber band and no twist tie.

Peanuts Found in Velvet Raspberry Fudge Cordial Ice Cream

Velvet Ice Cream has voluntarily recalled one flavor that may contain unexpected peanuts, says a recall notice issued by the FDA this week.

The recalled Velvet Raspberry Fudge Cordial Ice Cream was distributed to retail locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia in late July. Affected cartons can be identified by UPC 0-7068210049-7 and have “A2 19521 26-012″ printed on the bottom.

Consumers are instructed to either dispose of the product or return it to the store for a refund.

My information was leaked by a company that I’ve never heard or been to before. So they mailed me a letter stating what occurred. I’m not yet sure what happened but I need some help because I’ve got a lot on my credit report that should have not been there, so do until I have a case
