Vivid Seats Class Action Settlement Benefits

Class Members may file claims either for a credit or a cash payment.

Class Members do not need to take any action to receive this benefit.

However, those who would prefer a cash payment equal to the price of the ticket purchase (including base price, fees, and delivery charges, but excluding insurance charges and any amount paid with a gift card or store or loyalty credit) must submit a claim form.

Anyone who purchased a ticket through Vivid Seats on or before April 1, 2021, to an event between Sept. 29, 2016, and April 1, 2021, that was postponed or rescheduled but was canceled until after April 1, 2021, will be entitled to injunctive relief under the event cancellation settlement agreement.

These Vivid Seats class action settlement Class Members will automatically be entitled to a credit on their account toward the purchase of tickets to future events equal to 110 percent of the purchase price of the ticket or tickets they purchased, less any amount already paid or spent in credit. 2. Nicholas Wilson says:

I purchased tickets to Joe Rogan comedy show in New Orleans. I never received email. As well the automated system won’t accept my order number to speak with customer service. This service is horrible and a scam. $700 is due back to me!! I purchased after the cutoff but please add me for additional help!! I would like to start a new case because I know I’m not the only one with this issue!! They are giving people the run around!

  3. August says:

When the hell will there be an update on this?! Does anyone know if they’ve handled anything in court yet? I bought tickets for a cavaliers game for my bf last year. Over $700 gone just like that. I don’t go to concerts or games hardly ever so when I heard it was cancelled I immediately contacted them. Emailed so many times and never got a reply back and when I do, they say it wasn’t within the 20 days. I’d be damn if it won’t, they just never responded to me in time. They responded way after the 20 days. I need my money back in my bank account not for their stupid website to just sit there forever. Once this is over, if it ever will be, never will I use vivid seats again!!!

    Any updates?

  5. Christine Murphy says:

    Add me please

  6. Tom says:

The settlement was $7.5 million. That means we will each receive about $.50. Don’t hold your breath.

  7. Mindy shores says:

I purchased BTS tix that were over 350 dollars and waited over 365 days for it to get cancelled and they gave me 20 days to submit a cash refund. There is no 100% guarantee. I am now fighting with them to get my.money back and I tried to chat online it tells u to email them, I tried calling them and got automated message to email them. Then they just say u didn’t submit it refund in 20 days (it was 22) so u only get a credit. I waited 365+ days and they gave me 20 days to get hundreds of my dollars back.

    1. Kim says:

If you get anywhere please let me know! I purchased 2 BTS Tickets for my children and they DO NOT need credit towards other events (they are minors. They still haven’t given me a refund because their 20 day (answe by email) went to spam and wasn’t seen in time after over a year has passed!

  8. Kim says:

Purchased 2 tickets for A conversation with Michelle Obama scheduled for 4/2/20. It was postponed due to the pandemic. Spoke with customer service twice and each rep stated they cannot issue a refund and to wait until they have another date. She said “all sales are final” however the site says 100% buyers guarantee. Doesn’t feel good to spend hundreds of Dollars on tickets to an event that has no reschedule date. Their customer service is lacking and completely unsupportive.

  9. Melisa Fausto says:

I bought tickets for Alanis Morrisette through Vivid Seat and sold them through Vivid Seat right before the Pandemic bit because the Pandemic happened and the concert got rescheduled, I didn’t get my money. So although these tickets are already resold, I still have to wait for my money even though Vivid seat already received the money from the new buyer.
They have my money and it’s not fair.

  10. Mona says:

I bought 5 tickets to born free, not the same like up this year, but I wasn’t even given an option to go, I sent in my paper form but have not heard anything, that is $569 I paid and I want my money back!
