Vivid Seats Class Action Settlement Benefits

Class Members may file claims either for a credit or a cash payment.

Some Class Members may have already received a credit on their Vivid Seats account toward the purchase of tickets for future events.

The event cancellation settlement agreement extends the expiration date for any such active, non-expired credits through Dec. 31, 2022.

Class Members do not need to take any action to receive this benefit.

However, those who would prefer a cash payment equal to the price of the ticket purchase (including base price, fees, and delivery charges, but excluding insurance charges and any amount paid with a gift card or store or loyalty credit) must submit a claim form.

Anyone who purchased a ticket through Vivid Seats on or before April 1, 2021, to an event between Sept. 29, 2016, and April 1, 2021, that was postponed or rescheduled but was canceled until after April 1, 2021, will be entitled to injunctive relief under the event cancellation settlement agreement.

These Vivid Seats class action settlement Class Members will automatically be entitled to a credit on their account toward the purchase of tickets to future events equal to 110 percent of the purchase price of the ticket or tickets they purchased, less any amount already paid or spent in credit. The credit will be valid through Dec. 31, 2022.

Alternatively, these Class Members may choose to receive a cash payment equal to their ticket purchase price, less any amounts paid using gift cards or store or loyalty credit, to the postponed or rescheduled event that was later cancelled, less any amount already paid or spent in credit. Class Members electing to receive this cash payment must request it from Vivid Seats within 21 days of receiving notice that the rescheduled or postpone event has been cancelled.

A final approval hearing in the Vivid Seats class action settlement is scheduled for Aug. 10, 2021.

The deadline for Class Members to ask to be excluded from or object to the settlement is July 15, 2021.

The deadline to file a claim in the event cancellation settlement is Oct. 27, 2021.

  3. Melissa Owens says:

I bought tickets for a concert that was rescheduled 3 times. I got Covid and was unable to attend the last date the concert actually took place. Am I entitled to anything vivid seats says no.

  4. Algie Simmons says:

    I bought tickets,,, concert POSTPONED

  5. Reem says:

We purchased tickets a little bit
prior to the pandemic and the concert was cancelled because the concert date was to take place at a date during the pandemic and due to mandate, no gatherings were able to be held. So, naturally it was cancelled. They did not alert us that it was cancelled instead of rescheduled and instead sent an email where we were to respond within 5 days or so otherwise no reimbursement. Never got the email thus was never properly notified. I called them and they wouldn’t budge; instead they offer me a “credit”— I don’t want a credit. The concert is not only permanently cancelled (no future rescheduling plans) but it was also specifically purchased because it was Andrea Bocceli’s last performance. Vivid seats knew that this was his last concert and due to the nature of the specific nature of purchase (seeing HIM and it being his LAST convert), I want a full refund— not their “credit.”

  6. Mary says:

I purchased tickets for maroon 5 which is rescheduled for August which is beyond the filing date for the lawsuit.. Should I go to the concert assuming they will honor the tickets of file the claim just in case?

  7. Tonya says:

I purchased tickets and they’ve been canceled twice to the Upchurch concert can somebody else please tell me if they’ve already purchased these tickets and can we still go are they going to be honored at the gate once I get there and not be turned away I don’t wanna waste my gas how expensive it is right now I cannot waste any gas to get down there can someone please explain this to me can I still use my tickets or are they not valid

  8. Mary says:

I have the same question..if have tickets from 2020 for a concert postponed for 2022, can i still use the tickets if I file this lawsuit??? Please someone answer…

  9. Kim Guzan says:

I purchased tickets to the Concert
the number is 866 848 8499 taked to a live adjent. called and emailed them for a refund. 9-14 2020 email 10-4-2020 Julian was the adjent ext 3290 order number #32711409

    1. Dawn says:

We purchased Blake Shelton tickets for March 14, 2020 concert. The concert was postponed. We requested a full refund in March of 2021 and we were told to expect a refund in three weeks. We never received anything! We called again but couldn’t get in touch with anyone. NOW THE CONCERT IS RESCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 20TH 2021. WE CAN’T ATTEND and still want a full refund. This is ridiculous – we don’t want credit to another concert later. We will NEVER purchase tickets through Vivid Seats again. You can’t get a hold of anyone to tell them you aren’t able to attend in August. Simply disgusted!!!

  10. Joni J. Green says:

I bought Elton John tickets. Can it still use the ticket if I file this lawsuit?
