Vitamin Shoppe Inc. has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit that alleges the company made false and misleading statements about the ingredients in its Reservie Trans-Resveratrol dietary supplement.
If you purchased Vitamin Shoppe’s Reservie Trans-Resveratrol at any time between Jan. 1, 2011 and June 6, 2016, you may be entitled to a cash payment from the Vitamin Shoppe class action settlement.
The Reservie Trans-Resveratrol class action lawsuit was filed in January 2015 by plaintiff Rebecca Scheuerman, who alleged that the supplement’s label falsely represented the amount of the Trans-Resveratrol French grape seed extract that is actually contained in the supplement.
Trans-Resveratrol is a naturally-occurring chemical commonly found in grape skins and in red wine. While it is commonly associated with grapes, it can also be found in knotweed, which the Reservie class action lawsuit alleges is a much cheaper source of trans-reservatrol than French grape seed extract.
According to the Vitamin Shoppe class action lawsuit, Reservie Trans-Resveratrol is actually made up of Japanese Knotweed, not French grape seed extract. Scheuerman alleges she and other purchasers of Reservie have overpaid for the product.
Vitamin Shoppe denies the allegations but has agreed to settle the Reservie Trans-Resveratrol class action lawsuit to avoid the burden and expense of ongoing litigation. The Reservie class action settlement was preliminarily approved on June 17, 2016.
Class Members who wish to object to or exclude themselves from the Reservie false advertising settlement must do so no later than Sept. 23, 2016.
Who’s Eligible
Class Members include consumers who purchased Vitamin Shoppe’s Reservie Trans-Resveratrol for personal consumption (and not for resale) in the United States between Jan. 1, 2011 and June 6, 2016.

i got an email saying my claim was deemed fraudulent, but the link to the questionnaire isn’t working.
is this legit? how the hell can they tell me my claim is not legit?????? not my fault they got more claims than anticipated.
SCUMMY LAWYERS.
How would they know how many people purchased the product that filed claims. I don,t recall what the pill looked like or what the jar looked like. Did my best in the questionnaire. I’ll just wait and see what happens. Scammers at their best.
I want to file an objection to this nonesense questionnaire about pills I took 4 years ago seriously?
Wish there was something we could do about this, can’t believe they are telling us this crap on being fraudulent. I have all the answers but l and that is that dern capsule can’t remember what it looked like.
This is not insulting or anything, I still have my receipts and keep them all for 7 years or more because of these types of problems, little do they know and I will be showing them.. but fraudulent? Wouldnt there be a more professional and tactful way to say things to people? I am offended..
Fraudulent Claims Questionnaire – Scheuerman v. Vitamin Shoppe Industries, Inc….
Whereas we have received more claims in this matter than there are potential class members, it has become apparent that certain non-class members are filing fraudulent claims. You are receiving this email because your claim was identified as potentially fraudulent. In order to receive a benefit from the class action settlement you must complete the questionnaire available through the link below, truthfully and accurately. If the answers you provide do not meet the criteria established, your claim will be denied. You must complete and submit the questionnaire no later than November 23, 2016, or you will not receive a benefit from the class action settlement.
THEY ACTUALLY HAVE THE NERVE TO SEND ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS OUT AND THEY ARE IN THE WRONG.
What even worse is now, the action is treating claimants like criminals and forcing them to fill out a vague questionnaire. It’s bad enough you try to screw people…then you go out of your way to try and avoid fairly paying! Pathetic!
I recieved a email that my claim was possibly fraud and that i needed to enter their unique ID#s and other info. that was attached to email. Ridiculous!!

It did not ask me for any such information, just my personal details. Anyone else?
Can’t fill this one out. Keeps saying email is incorrect! Have tried 5 different emails.
