A class action settlement has been reached over an alleged norovirus outbreak that took place at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, N.Y. If you experienced gastrointestinal illness within 72 hours after visiting the Mohonk Mountain House between Jan. 27, 2014 and Feb. 28, 2014, you may be eligible for payment from the class action settlement.
The Mohonk Mountain House class action lawsuit was filed by plaintiffs Louis Bellotti and Anna Marie Bellotti in 2014. They allege that a norovirus outbreak at the Mohonk Mountain House caused some visitors to experience gastrointestinal illness due to a norovirus outbreak. According to the class action settlement, gastrointestinal illness may involve nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, lethargy, weakness, muscle aches, headaches and/or fever.
The norovirus outbreak class action settlement seeks compensation for personal injuries of individuals who became sick after visiting the Mohonk Mountain House during the Class Period.
The defendant denies any liability but has agreed to settle the norovirus outbreak class action lawsuit to avoid the uncertainty and expense associated with ongoing litigation. Under the terms of the proposed class action settlement, the defendant will establish a settlement fund of $875,000 to resolve the litigation and provide compensation to eligible Class Members.
The Mohonk Mountain House class action settlement was preliminarily approved on Jan. 15, 2016.

I will never eat there again. Food was tasteless and apparently toxic.
do anyone know of any new up dates as to when will checks will be going out?thanks in advance for your respond back.
I got sick from their food. I didn’t have insurance or much money so I never went to the doctor. I got better after 1 day. When I was there I accidentally took 2 of their monogram towels which I will use for evidence. The towel actually has some puke stains on it not to get too gross.
I had bad diarrhea and puking after gong to Mohonk. I ate the chicken meal. I hope they mail the checks soon.
Same here Edgar..i felt so bad i had to go to the emergency room Wheres the funds???
Hope everyone is well but where are the funds..
Did they need a blood sample to prove you are infected? Is this disease like Zika virus? There were lots of bugs at the lodge.
