A settlement has been proposed in a class action lawsuit involving text messages sent from certain retail companies to consumers without their express consent. If you received a text message from one of these retailers, you may be entitled to a $105 payment from the class action settlement.
The MoGreet text spam settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit (Lockett v. MoGreet Inc.) that alleges certain retailers would send text message advertisements to consumers through MoGreet’s mobile platform or one of its affiliated service providers (YesMail Inc. and InfoGroup Inc.) in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
MoGreet denies the allegations but has agreed to settle the class action lawsuit to avoid the expense and uncertainty of trial.
Who’s Eligible
Class Members of the MoGreet text spam settlement include all individuals in the United States who received an unauthorized text message from any of the following retailers:

Clearly, all the comments & waiting is not working. Apparently, they have decided to take down their website, however, the Court information is still available. The case number is 2013-CH-21352. The Judge is Neil H. Cohen. The address is 50 W. Washington St Rm 2308

Personally, I intend to write a letter to the Court to ask why it’s ok for the settlement administrator to take down their website & not keep consumers informed about the status of our claims.
Just called the claims admin office and was told checks were supposed to go out by the end of June but then got delayed by the courts.
it does not make sense. why did they shut their website down more than 2 weeks ago. there are many class action websites that are appealed or more from the courts but do not shut down. as I said a while ago I was on a website and someone said they have found a way not to pay and I believe it.
any updates?? really hoped by now the checks would be in the mail!
