MoGreet Text Spam Class Action Settlement

A settlement has been proposed in a class action lawsuit involving text messages sent from certain retail companies to consumers without their express consent. If you received a text message from one of these retailers, you may be entitled to a $105 payment from the class action settlement.

The MoGreet text spam settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit (Lockett v. MoGreet Inc.) that alleges certain retailers would send text message advertisements to consumers through MoGreet’s mobile platform or one of its affiliated service providers (YesMail Inc. and InfoGroup Inc.) in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

MoGreet denies the allegations but has agreed to settle the class action lawsuit to avoid the expense and uncertainty of trial.

yah I called yesterday and they told me the same thing. A few months ago I called and they said my claim was good. Called yesterday now im denied. What a joke!

You would think the people involved with this suit would read these statements and make some changes. I have never seen a class action suit handled so unprofessionally as this one is. I wonder if any one will get a payment and that will leave all of it to the main class participants.. I’m waiting for someone to file a class action against this class action. Since they haven’t followed one thing of the courts ruling. And I know I received the texts that they sued about, but how am I supposed to remember an ad I got years ago.

I don’t know what farce this settlement is , but I called in Sept and was told that I was part of the class and that a manager had to handle my claim . I called today and they told me the I was rejected. I don’t know how I can be approved and than rejected. I think this whole settlement is a joke and by the way they are knocking people out of the class, the few that might end up with payment , will get a larger check ,due to all the members that were knocked out. I don’t trust this suit at all. There had to be a reason they sent me the class information and had me waste my time filling it all out and than to be told , I am approved and than a month later, to be told I was rejected. Is a joke

I called Mr. Scharg, and he was in a meeting but I left a message with his assistant. I will follow up next week.

      2. cbdr1098 says:

I’ve written both the address’ you gave and neither will reply. I don’t understand why everyone keeps being ignored

  3. Joy says:

I spoke with someone today – verified that my claim is valid. said they are just waiting to be notified that payments can go out. said they are asking that everyone keep calling to check periodically to find out if payments have been sent out.

    1. cbdr1098 says:

call in about a month or so and see if it is still valid. they told me mine was 2 months ago and now all of a sudden, mine is invalid. So don’t get you r hopes up

    2. the real bob says:

  6. Florida Girl says:

  7. TIFFANY ALICEA says:

I SPOKE TO SOMEONE THERE YESTERDAY THEY STATED THAT NO CHECKS HAVE WENT OUT AND THEY DONT KNOW WHEN THEY WILL GO OUT. THEY SAID THERE MIGHT BE AN APPEAL PENDING.

  8. cbdr1098 says:

I called the 888-985-9195 and spoke to Doris and was asked a bunch of questions and than put on hold for about 10 minutes, off and on as she asked question. And she finally can back and told me that I haven’t been denied, but for some reason my claim hadn’t been processed yet and that she would move it up to a specialist to look over and than someone would get back to me. She didn’t say I was denied but she didn’t say I was approved. Why does a specialist need to evaluate my claim. I have a claim number and filled it out , so why do I have to wait to see if they approve me
